What does it meant by "unique views"?

What does it meant by "unique views"? How is it different from the total number of visitors per day?

I believe unique views can mean that page will receive views from unique IPs

Unique visits refers to if a user visits your site 100 times a day then it will be calculated as 1 visist that day for that user.

Unique visit means only one visit will be counted per one IP. If you get 10 visitors who are using the same IP address, then there is only one unique visit because all of the visitors are using the same IP.
