When setting up a website you tend to know what you're going to be selling on it, and if it's a high ticket item you will need to know a few things first. Selling a $5 backlink service isn't the same as selling a $1,000 full-scale SEO service, and a lot of buyers will want to talk more when the price tag is higher.
Most of the time when it comes to a high ticket item you will need to meet in person with the client, understand that it takes time to seal the deal, have a contract ready to be signed, and you will need to talk to them on the phone when they want to get in touch. The more you're asking from them, the more likely you will have to go offline in order to capture the sale, and this is just how big-ticket items work when you're not selling to a billionaire.
You will be taken offline to meet with the clients
When you're selling something that costs significantly more than most things online, you will be asked to meet in person at a business or different location, and this is a normal business practice since a lot of money may be on the line. You could be selling a $1,000 service or a $1,000,000 car, you will have to go talk to the potential customer in person to show you're actually who you say you are.
The sale takes time to finalize
Higher ticket items aren't bought on a whim because the customer will do extensive research on your in order to see what others are saying. Online reviews of you and your business will go into factoring whether the potential customer can trust you or not, so hopefully, you have plenty of good content about yourself out there on the web 
The more money something costs, the higher the risk is, and this means someone will want to be sure you're the right service provider or product manufacturer to get the job done right the first time. This takes plenty of time to close the deal, and you will be happy you put in the effort to do everything right because you will close more deals if you're a patient person.
You may have to get a contract written up and agreed upon
When working with higher ticket items, no matter if it's a one-off purchase or a subscription type sale, you will likely want to set up some sort of contract that locks both of you into the sale. You can sell a product that needs to be paid for but will void the contract and need to be refunded if it ends up breaking shortly after purchase. You can also sell a service that will need to be refunded if you don't hold up your end of the deal.
Contracts for higher ticket items are a standard thing because they protect both sides from wrongdoing. If you screw up, you will refund the customer, but if they are just bad buyers and want a refund... Well, they signed a contract that locked them into the sale and now they aren't getting a free product or service.
You can't be afraid of talking on the phone
Many online entrepreneurs are afraid to talk to someone over the phone, which is why they always have chat and ticket systems on their website. They will give plenty of options in order for you to contact them, but they will omit their phone number, but with big-ticket items, you can't really do this.
You will need to talk over the phone if you're asking a lot of money for your product or service. This is a standard type of contact option, which will need to be available to your customers, and you will be happy you listed your number because you'll close more deals.
In conclusion
If you want to seal more big sales, you will need to be able to go meet with them in person and not be afraid of in-person conversations. If you can talk with people in person, give them plenty of contact options, and run everything as a professional then you will be able to close more high ticket deals than before
