In the past, I've written plenty about PPC campaigns and how you can set them up to be profitable, but I've never really talked about penny clicks as much as I should have in order to help people build their following and profits more. Plenty of people out there are trying to save money while making money in order to have a great ROI, but not many of us are focusing on the lowest CPC with low bids and boosting our conversions over time. We all want the immediate gratification of a quick sale through a click that only cost us a few pennies, but it doesn't always happen like that. You need to build up your following with penny clicks, nurture your relationship with those people, build your authority within their eyes, and eventually, you will bring them in as a paying customer 
In this discussion, I'll be going over a few things you need to understand about how you can use penny clicks to profit, and they are:
Penny clicks through Facebook should be used differently
I love using Facebook to get penny clicks because it's one of the easier platforms to drop your CPC in a short amount of time. When trying to get penny clicks on Facebook you need to have good looking images that will increase your CTR, which will drop your CPC over a week or so, and that's what we're trying to do with this.
Now, using Facebook to drive traffic directly to your website isn't what you should be focused on right now. Instead, you should be using the penny click set up to send people to your websites Facebook page in order to build your following. After you've done this for long enough you will have thousands of new followers on Facebook that you can advertise to as often as you want. You're not actually going to be advertising to them, you're just going to post to your page often in order to get them to notice you, then they will come and make a decision if they want to make a purchase or not
I got my CPC down to $0.01 and let it run at $10 a day for 2 weeks and built up an additional 10,000 people who liked my page that I could advertise to. Yes, I ran the campaign for 14 days and only got 10,000 new likes to my page, but you need to remember that my CPC wasn't $0.01 in the beginning, my campaign needed to age a little before my cost dropped. I now have over 50,000 people who liked my page and I can advertise to them whenever I want and get some additional traffic to my website
Penny clicks and Adwords are good if you sell something cheaply
When running an Adwords campaign it's not as easy to get penny clicks, but it's still possible if you target low-income countries like India. You won't be able to sell them a $500 a month SEO service but you will be able to resell a $1 service here for $5 to $10 on your own website!
You need to think of this as selling a lot of services and making a little profit off of each one instead of selling a few services and making a decent markup. You won't be able to sell something expensive when trying to get penny clicks through Adwords, mainly because you will be bidding lower, and this means Google will show your ads to people in lower income countries because there tend to be more views coming in there for some reason. You will also be shown there more since people tend to exclude India from their paid promotions.
Penny clicks can get your 1,000s of visitors but they may not buy
You could get thousands of people to your website each day, but that doesn't mean they will actually purchase something from you. You need to have everything set up in a way that encourages them to purchase, have your products or services priced just right, and make the checkout process as simple as possible.
You need to think of your penny clicks as a way to bring people to your social media page or website but don't expect them to convert the same as other traffic. Yes, PPC traffic definitely converts very well, but a penny click isn't the same and shouldn't be valued the same way. You can turn it into a great click, but you need to nurture it over time and not expect them to purchase the first time they land on your website. Now, there can be plenty of orders coming in if you do it right, but don't expect anyone to order and you will be ecstatic when someone does
Penny clicks don't have penny bids
When I'm trying to get penny clicks on Facebook I will always set my bids at $0.05 to start with and they will gradually get lower as I tweak my campaign. I will start to get a lot of clicks, my CPC will begin to lower as my relevancy starts to kick in, and I can drop my CPC even lower with quality images that hopefully explain everything about my website without using too many words.
If you're trying to get penny clicks you should never set your bid at $0.01 because your campaign will never age naturally and drop your CPC, you will be stuck at $0.01 and never get many clicks. Yes, you'll spend $0.05 per click the first couple days but it will gradually get better and you will be glad you spent the money to age your campaign
In conclusion
People always try to get their campaigns to cost $0.01 per click because it's the absolute lowest CPC you can get. The problem is people expect to make thousands of dollars with all the clicks they're getting if they do get to $0.01 per click, but what they're doing wrong is sending traffic directly to a sales page. The person will land on the page, see it costs $100s of dollars, and they will leave without doing anything else. Instead, send them to your Facebook page and get them to like it so you can market to them later on with a basic post

Correct, and this is where your ad copy will come into play :D
You can write it yourself if you know what you're doing, but I suggest you outsource it to someone that knows what they're doing so you can increase your conversions 10 fold. I've seen some people complain about their conversion rates, then I help them with their ad copy, and now they have many more sales coming in with just a few tweaks to their content :D
You need to talk about the key points of your business, service, or product without trying to make it feel like a marketing pitch. If you can show how a void is being filled or you are helping your customers, you will increase your conversions tremendously, so try to do that and see what happens :)

Facebook is much easier to get penny clicks with, but it's actually more difficult to convert those clicks into a sale, which is why I try to get my campaigns on Adwords down to $0.01 per click and sell a cheap service or product to boost my sales.
If you target just countries like India and Bangladesh, you will be able to drop your CPC pretty low, but you will also need something on your website they will be willing to purchase. You need to remember that they don't make as much as most people, so a $5 product or service will still seem like a $50 or $100 product or service to us.

This is the first time I have read about this idea but I'm happy I came across this post. I have been looking for ways to earn money online and this idea just interests me. I hope I can read more about it so I'll learn how it works and when I'm ready, I'll get started with it right away and see how much I can grow from this industry.
