Let your competition try new things while you profit from methods that already work.

If your competition is always trying new things, it's likely because they haven't figured out a way to actually bring in sales.  If you have something that is working, you need to stick with it in order to build it as much as possible, and eventually, you can start testing new methods to bring in sales.

People always think they need to be revolutionary or cutting edge in order to bring in consistent sales, but that's not true at all, just look at the common tire on every car you see.  They all look the same, they do similar things, and the technology behind them hasn't changed much in the last 40 years yet they are all multi-million or billion dollar companies.

You don't need to be revolutionary
You're not going to have to reinvent the wheel, you just need something that is as good, or slightly better, than what the top seller is offering.  If it's an SEO service that is giving 10 different types of backlinks, you need to offer 11 or even 12, and you'll notice more people coming to you and purchasing.

You don't need to be the newest product or service to the world in order to be profitable from it.  Look at those hoverboard things, there was one company who had them and made millions, but then there were 100 different companies making them and the profits were scrambled up because some companies did better marketing Let your competition try new things while you profit from methods that already work.  You just need to know what works before you jump in and you can profit from your competitors doing the testing lol.

What is already working will work for you
If you're getting into an industry that has thousands of people doing the same thing, they're doing it because it works, and there's no real reason to switch it up.  You should focus on making your service the best it possibly can be, then focus on your branding and stand out to all of your visitors, and you will see the profits start rolling in.

Build a business that works, then test other strategies if you want
You don't need to do the same exact thing over and over again, I'm just saying you should focus on what's working for your business and build up your profits as much as possible with the things that are already bringing in sales.  After you're very profitable you can then branch out and test new methods, but never forget about the systems or setups that are bringing in sales consistently.

Methods are saturated because they work
I love coming across email systems, SEO systems, SEO software, Web Design services, and pretty much anything else that has to do with a website because it's all saturated but we make money regardless.  There could be 1,000 different web design companies listing their services here, but it just takes a little bit of branding in order to stand out from the crowd, and the moment you stand out is the moment you see your profits start to rise Let your competition try new things while you profit from methods that already work.

In conclusion
You don't need to build something that is 100% unique because that's just a bunch of work that could screw up your current system and profits.  Just build something you know you can specialize in, make it even better than you imagined, and you will be able to profit then test new methods later on when you have a team in place to take over when you want to play around in different niches or mess around with new revenue streams.
