    Yes If Stop Doing SEO, Thats Mean You Stopped Promoting Your Site To The World, Then In Few Days Your Site Had No Traffic/No Visitors..!

    You will be invisible for the world. SEO is necessary. You must make sure all your articles:

    - Have proper keywords with correct keywords density
    - Correct Page Title with first letter of every word capitalized
    - First keyowrd (focus keyword) must be first word on page title
    - Meta Description must be found in part of title
    - URL must contain title properly escaped with dashes without stop words
    - All external links must be nofollow
    - Images should have alt attribute so search engines can understand what's shown on the picture
    - Post body must be at least 300 characters

    and the list goes on...

    If you have already done SEO, you might continue to receive traffic from search engines even you are not doing any SEO. However, if you have never done SEO, you will not gain a better position in search engine, thus there will be no organic traffic. SEO ensures that you get regular traffic. However, there are other traffic sources as well, for instance, social media, forums, email marketing etc.

    My take on an stagnant SEO methods is the little effect on the traffic as long as the website continue to have new contents that are good. However, the ranking on the search list will definitely decrease. For example your link is on page 1, after a month it may go down to the lower pages since you are not doing any SEO methods. But in fairness to your site, if you have enough keywords and also backlinks on bookmarking sites, they still continue to have a positive effect on the search engine’s indexing until the indexing is updated and it will appear that your site is not SEO capable anymore. Correct me if I am wrong on my opinion.
