    I personally would only use free domains for development purposes only. Never ever would I conduct business on a free domain such as Co.CC, or .TK provided by Dot.tk.. I do not trust anyone using a free domain, no matter how well their site is coded, or how much traffic goes to their site.

    A .com or .net domain is going to carry a lot more weight than anything else.
    A lot of people would be leery to do business with a site that is not a true top level domain.

    co.cc was once blocked by Google because the domain was extensively used by spammers. It is not a good idea to use a free domains like co.cc or tk. It is better to opt for cheap domain names for instance xyz, club, life etc. You can get these domains under $2, however, the renewal fee is little high.
