If you're working online as a freelancer you'll likely come across plenty of competition from all over the world. This usually isn't a great thing for you because if you're from the USA or any other country that can't compete with Indian or Phillipino pricing, you're going to sink pretty quick and look for a different job because we simply can't compete with them on a pricing scale.
Now, if you're in a crowded industry like SEO and can't compete with low ball pricing because it simply is too much of your time for a few dollars, you should know there are a few ways to entice people to pay you a little more for your services compared to your low ball competitors. You can most definitely use this information here on SEOclerks.com to boost your own sales, but it might take a bit of time to start gaining any ground on the sellers who have 1,000+ orders because they already have a devoted following of members who buy from them on a regular basis. That shouldn't scare you off though, competition is everywhere you go, not just here on SEOclerks the biggest SEO marketplace in the world!
Below I'll be covering a few things to work on if you want to be successful in a crowded market and can't lower your price to fight with the low ballers, and those things are:
Be active online
If you're active online people will start to gravitate towards you. I've written almost 1,000 discussions here on SEOclerks and I'm not getting requests through my inbox asking for custom quotes for XX,XXX words per month. If I wasn't active I would likely lose those sales and not be able to build my profile to greater heights. I may not have as many sales as the bigger fish here on SEOclerks, but my orders are always more than $15 a piece 
If you're active online, people will find you, and they will start to click any link you put in front of them. I've posted plenty of times on 3rd party websites and linked back to my services, then waited patiently until I get those lovely little "How much for" messages in my inbox You don't just have to be active here on SEOclerks, you have to be active all over the internet in order to compete in a saturated market.
Be quick to respond to potential customers
If you're letting a message sit in your inbox or email you're just giving them time to look for other service providers who can do something similar for a much lower price point. People are impatient and that's why you need to be quick to respond. Set up email notifications so you get an alert whenever someone comments on your service or sends you a message.
Another thing you need to remember is to look through your comments on each service you post. If you're like me, you get hundreds of notifications a week and your "Alerts" tab is flooded with comments on discussions, so by going through your services manually to see who's commenting, you won't miss out on anything. I actually had missed a comment for about a week but luckily that client was patient and waited for me to respond. I replied to their comment as well as shot them a PM to make sure they saw me, and they did, after a few days of talking they purchased over $250 worth of content and have purchased a couple of more times since then. If I hadn't gone through my services to check my comments manually I would have missed out on all that profit.
Undercut your competition in the beginning
I can't express this enough, you need to price your services low in the beginning to give people a taste of what you can do. If you're going to be 2 or 3 times the price of the average service in your industry, you need to build up a decent amount of positive reviews before people start to gravitate towards you. I usually set a requirement for myself that I won't increase my pricing to its normal point until I have 50+ successful orders. My writing service just hit 40 successful orders and I'm still charging more than 99% of the people who are selling custom content lol. If I were to write for $1 to $5 per 500 words I would be breaking my fingers each day. I charge $15 per 500 words and tend to over-deliver on everything, which is why people always come back
After a bit of time, you can boost your pricing and people will continue to come back for more as long as you're good at what you do. You can't jump your pricing drastically, you have to do it little by little as to not give anyone shell shock. So if you're selling at $5 per order, you won't want to jump to $50 per order because that's a big leap. Instead, jump up to $7 or even $10 and keep it there for a week or two, then start to climb up and see how many sales you can get while keeping your profits stable.
Brand yourself online
If you're not branding yourself, you're falling behind the people who already are, and that's never a good thing. Think of the seller here named BarryinSiam, he's branded his own name and has gotten thousands of orders because he's one of the main people to go to for SEO here on SEOclerks.com (I've actually purchased from him in the past when I needed to outsource some work lol). His services would actually cost 3 or 4 times what he's actually charging if he lived in the US or a country similar to the value the US dollar has (it's too damn high if you were wondering lol).
Barry uses his own name on his profile and not some Pen name that can be forgotten. He uses his own picture in his services, not some random model, which gives him a little more authority over time. People will land on his service and think "This guy is the real deal and it's not a stock photo like the majority of the services I come across" and that builds trust. He puts himself out there and people like that because it's like they're working with an actual person instead of someone that can hide behind a pen name when something goes wrong with their order. In conclusion
If you do it right, you can compete in a crowded market no matter what your pricing is. You have to attack this strategically and not wing it like a lot of sellers actually do. The more time you put into responding to customers, potential customers, building your brand, and perfecting your craft will pull in thousands of dollars a month in profit and you can likely live very well if you do it long enough

Having a 100% seller rating isn't the easiest thing to do. You need to do everything I mentioned in the discussion, and you are, so I'm not worried about you climbing the rankings to level 3 and possibly getting accepted into the X level club of service providers when you get a few more orders under your belt :)
Many people out there want to be successful but they don't want to adjust to the scenario, like waking up in the middle of the night to answer an email, and they think they can mold people to do what they want. The biggest thing that kills a business or service is when the provider thinks they can do what they want when they want, and the customers will just keep flooding in lol. You need to work those long hours, wake up at night, take the extra step, overdeliver a service, and do everything you can to keep your customers happy as well as boost your sales along the way :)
