Write the reason you're deleting this FAQ
I am to retire in 5 years time and I'm already preparing for that because I cannot imagine myself to be idle and not earning. I cannot consider myself an expert in writing but I can say that I'm good enough for an average freelancer. However, my daily earnings cannot be compared with my present salary since I only earn a dollar or 2 from my freelancing. In fairness to me, I only spend an hour a day understandably due to my office job. Now this question, can I earn more than $20 in a day if I will go full time in my freelancing? That amount can cover my daily expenses so my retirement pay will not be depleted.

When I started off as a freelancer, I was just trying to make some extra cash and eventually, it turned into a full-fledged business. I didn't expect to make millions overnight, but in time I was making enough to pay all my bills and a little extra for going out with friends and saving up.
A lot of freelancers will quit their jobs as soon as they start making money online, which I would never recommend. What you'll have to do is build up your earnings over time and become an authority on whatever it is you're doing.
What you should do:
Setting up your own freelancing website so you look like a full-fledged business will give you an authority within the nice over time. It won't come right away, but it will come eventually if you keep at it
When you have everything set up and optimized, you will now need to start advertising it. You won't get a bunch of traffic from the search engines right away because you're just too new right now. Advertising your site at the start, will get you your initial sales and bring in some profits. You will then need to bootstrap everything, re-investing your profits for more advertising, and make more sales. When you start to plateau, you can then start up a new website for a different service, and build that one up as well.
Over time, you will notice that you'll have 2 websites bringing in some cash and then 3, 4, 5, etc. The profits you can make from a month to month basis is only limited by you.
