    Best Digital Certifications All Online Marketers Should Have

    In the online marketing world, everything is constantly evolving and as a digital marketer is important to remain relevant, anchored in reality, up to date with the latest news and very important: have proof of your skills by completing top digital certifications. This will ensure some acknowledgment from your peers as well as a solid weight in your resume if you ever want to climb higher with a different agency and a better salary.

    I personally have a few different digital certifications as well as all Google Partners certifications, all active and passed. But I don't want to stop here, by the end of the year I'm planning to pass at least 5 more digital based online marketing certifications from trusted and recognized sources.

    Here is a list of the best digital certifications we can currently get online in 2017:

    1. HubSpot - Inbound Marketing Certification

    • Probably the best certification around for digital marketing, it is pretty much considered the best in the business.
    • Will teach you on how to get more clients and customers.
    • Very well constructed with multiple modules.
    • Valid for 25 months.
    2. HubSpot - Content Creation Certification - In my line of work content creation is probably the most effective tool in creating more sales and attracting more traffic.
    • I'm an SEO and content should be my second problem after search engines.
    • This course will focus on content marketing strategies as well as content analysis optimization.
    • Takes about 3.5 hours to complete.
    • The certification is valid for 13 months.
    3. Google Adwords
    • Has 6 modules with 6 different certifications.
    • You need at least 2 to become a Google Partner and Adwords certified.
    • Very serious and technical courses, hard to learn and hard to pass.
    • The benefits all of these courses are huge, you will learn a lot about marketing as well as Google.
    • All certifications are valid for only 12 months.
    4. Google Mobile site certification
    • Will help you a lot understand how Google sees the mobile version of your website as well as what you can do to optimize your website for mobile.
    • Valid for 12 months
    5. Bing Ads Certification
    • Models are based on Bing ranking factors
    • 109 pages of test based study
    • Learning more about Bing's editor ads
    • Will teach you about Bing bugeting and billing
    • Valid for 1 year
    6. Facebook Blueprint Certification - I've been trying to finish this certification for a long time now. They have a lot of courses and are constantly adding more.
    • 86 modules
    • You will learn of to plan, manage and optimize Facebook ads campaigns
    • Certifications are valid for 2 months.
    7. Twitter Flight School Certification
    • 15 small modules
    • You will learn about how to manage a Twitter campaign as well as optimize it.
    • Learn about different agency in Twitter and their functions
    • Will not expire
    8. Youtube Certification for Video Marketing
    • Has a total of 29 modules.
    • Will help you construct clever video strategies.
    • Can only be passed if you channel passes a certain views limit.
    • This certificate is valid for 18 months.

    I have found Google Analytics certificate really valuable. I think this way people can market their social media credential too. Because here you can teach the client about conversion and the traffic properly. So such certificates definitely help. I personally think that Adwords, Analytics and Hootesuite to be a good set of the certification. Many in the industry are demanding it these days too. So I think I'd surely go for some of these because I am into social media marketing. So that should help me in gaining few clients.

    Cool, although i took the Coursera lessons and it really cool, it partners with accredited universities and other organizations to bring you online courses on a range of topics and there are hundreds of
    marketing and sales related courses on there. Coursera offers the
    ability to audit classes for free, or take a class for credit by paying a
    fee. Courses have an official start and end date, syllabus and teacher,
    just like a real college class. They do have financial aid if the
    courses are too pricey. Get discounts on select courses at dealspotr.

    Thanks for posting the list, most of the certifications on there I have not even heard of, it is good to know the kinds of things you can be certified for. It is just one of the ways you can make sure you have the certifications that will be the most helpful to you in your marketing career.

    I bookmarked this page so that I can go back to all of the certifications mentioned here and see if I am able to receive these certifications. I have of course heard about most of these certifications, however, I have never tried any of these. I once wanted to try HubSpot certification but had to drop my application in the middle because it was a paid certification and I did not have a budget to attend this certification.
    I am an internet marketer and I understand the importances of these certifications, when time permits, I may try Facebook and Google certifications.

    Maybe I would be interested in the last one because Youtube is getting to be one of the biggest companies in the internet and it is also one of the sites that have great influence on users. When Youtube experienced downtime for 2 hours, there was panic in social media that people are posting to ask the reason why Youtube was down. That gave me a realization that Youtube is not just an ordinary site because I didn’t know that it was really a big site.
