    Yep, follow ninjasalesgroup link for a nice and detailed tutorial.

    If the theme is default then you can make use of the following insutrctions.

    1. Go to control panel.
    2. Go to styles.
    3. Change the image from the imagesets. in style components.
    4. You can also upload your own custom avatar. That should work out as well.

    I have found that it can be harder in some cases to change theme logo. So changing from default to new theme does make sense.

    Doesn't any of you use MyBB or Xenforo, I have 2 main forums one using Xenforo and one using MyBB. I do think MyBB is much easier to use. Also, offers 1000s free plugins.
