    Is pop-under traffic worth it?

    Pop-under traffic is cold. In other words, they're not usually on the stage of the buying cycle where they are likely to buy. Nonetheless, you might be able to get them to sign up for a list. Anyhow, despite this fact, a lot of people still say such traffic is junk. However, its big advantage, though, is it's massively low price.

    I want to hear your own thoughts about pop under traffic and if you feel it's worth it.

    Pop-under traffic is junk. It is terrible for visitors. It does not worth a single penny.

    The only positive thing in pop under ads is the low price, the rest is not very productive. Most often pop ads end up as spam, and also it annoys visitors of a website and thereby forcing them to leave the sites which in turn increases your site's bounce rate. So even if it is cheap, its not worth it.

    I think banner advertising would be a better deal. At least, you know exactly where the traffic is coming from - and it's not annoying. However, though, as with pop-under ads and redirected traffic, you cannot expect a lot of sales from it - because it's from people at a lower level in the buying cycle.

    I don't recommend using pop-under advertisements. Like the rest said, it is such low quality it truly isn't worth it. Just because it's cheap it doesn't mean you should be using it. Low traffic and pop-under ads are so annoying. Avoid it.

    Investing in a quality advertisement will pay off by itself when you will see the increase in your traffic, even if it costs a few pennies more. You will get the return on your investment.

    Along with banner traffic, I think signature ads would be a good investment for those who cannot afford targeted traffic from Google and Bing. Note, as with banner ads, signature ads allow you to see the source. Note, though, your still sort of getting what you're paying for. However, as sort of said before, you cannot expect such traffic to be hot for your sales pitch.

    Pop-traffic is annoying to website visitors. Over time it has not had good reputation among visitors, to me any website that appears in pop-under is scam.

    This kind of advertisement has nothing to do with visibility and I don think so that visitor would have any benefit from it. Visitors don't like it. It looks like that there is something that they don't want visitors to know about it. It is a good for those people who can't pay for regular high-quality traffic for their advertisement.

    Google hates the pop under traffic. Most of the advertisers who are into intrusive traffic like this type of the traffic. And that can be bad for many reasons. SEO gets damaged. And it is not easy to recover from such traffic. You have to think about how you can deal with the traffic loss in such case. I have seen many sites not listed in top 5 pages of the google results who have pop ups and pop unders on their site.

    No, I don't think that the pop-under traffic is worth to invest.It is really annoying for the users and not forget that most Internet users block the pop under ads. You should try something else, try another method to advertise, create campaigns, advertise on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc!

    I have success with popunder traffic, i get 3-6 signups per 1000 impressions with one affiliate program (my refs are active and spend money) so it's not crap traffic. I use popads.net, their traffic is full of bots. If i could find better network with human traffic only i will get even more signups.

    If that pop-under is like the pop up advertising in the computer browser then I wouldn’t go for it because it is an annoyance and instead of getting positive reaction, your advertisement may be blocked or banned. Let’s just use the traditional type of advertising with the use of banners or whatever we can have just to avoid the pop-under ads. Whenever I would go to a site with that pop up or pop under, I really get annoyed and my impression on that site is not good.
