Hello,

As Artois52 mentioned: You need to meet the criteria to get up the next level.
If you level up. Negative rating won't be removed.
Best way to get rid of Negative rating is to contact buyer who gave it and persuade him/her with full refund include some free service.

I have one negative rating too, and it bugs me every time I notice it!

The only thing you can do to help ratings is deliver on time and always make sure you delivery good quality work. You need members to leave you feedback positive feedback after orders.
Don't think you can remove negativity all I know is that just try your best to perform you best. Give buyers the reason to leave positive feedback.

Yeah, leaving a negative rating should be the last, last resort. Where nothing else can be worked out with the seller or they are refusing to help you out and have provided an inaccurate service or just bad customer service. But sometimes, even when you don't, you might still get one, such as is the nature of people. If that does happen, and someone has left you a negative feedback without trying to work something out with you first, the best thing to do is contact them and try to work something out with them so they are happy. If you can persuade them and give them something that would make them happy again, they can edit their feedback from your service's ratings section. Or, they can contact support desk and ask them to change it for them.

But levelling up wont remove that feedback no. So try to make peace with the buyer and offer them something else in exchange for changing their feedback. Hopefully, if they are a reasonable person, they will do that. But sometimes they may not. Unfortunately, people are entitled to leave their feedback for a service and don't have to change it. Although, if you have said in your order when delivering, for them to ask you any questions first BEFORE leaving feedback, and they did not do that. You may have some leverage to contact support about it and ask them to look into it because some people inappropriately leave negative feedback when it wasn't necessary to do so.

But as said, leaving a seller a negative feedback is usually the last, last resort after everything else has failed and the seller is not willing to negotiate something to see that buyer happy. Not many sellers on here are like that though and most will do so and jump through hoops and bend over backwards to help their buyers and to make them happy. I know because I'm that guy!
