    Does forum post exchange really work ?

    Its very hard to get active member and quality posts in a new community forum. Because nobody want to join a new and empty forum .If you want some active member on your forum then you will need attractive content which will attract others to join and participate in your forum. But I think that you can't add quality content daily alone. You will need some help to do this and beside if you will not have some member in your forum then other people will not get any interest in your forum. At this situation you can exchange forum posts with other forum admin/owner.. In this way you will get some member and will also get some post. But for this you will also need to join their forum and will need to make post on their forum.
    From my opinion forum post exchange is a good way to get posts in a new forum, though its don't work for big boards. However, what do you think about this ? Share your opinion with us...

    I have run a few forums in the past and I have found active post exchanges to be amazing for getting regular activity on your forum. I remember the last forum I had which just closed recently at 7 years old, when I first started that one I would rely on active post exchanges as well as adding fresh, new content myself and also posting around other forums to advertise my site and from the active exchanges and adding new content myself I achieved a friendly, active forum. Sometimes it really is the small things such as active post exchanges that can make all the difference, not only is someone helping you out but you are also helping them out and I believe you need that when it comes to a forum.

    I can not say it's a bad idea, but as long as you do not give your interests I do not see why other forum administrators should post in your forum. It depends niche formats and many other factors, topics already created matters a lot. In order to make a forum look active, you can use some services right here on Seoclerks. I tried and I can say that really works.

    If you are looking for comments on your blog or forum, post exchange really helps. However, in order to make money from your forum or blog, you need ad clicks or sales. Interestingly post exchange does not help on this regard. When commentators come from various location, you will get genuine traffic, however, traffic does not mean anything if there is no conversion.

    I think it really works well, but then again, there are people who don't hold up their end of the bargain. In fact, one I dealt with totally skipped town, lol. However, though, if you don't have any cash, then more than likely, you're not going to get posts on your forum, apart from a post exchange. That's just the way it is.

    Forum exchange is one good way of getting activity for your forum. However, if you are just starting out, I don’t think you can rely on forum exchange since you have nothing on your forum yet. And instead of posting on that other forum then it is better if you just post on your own forum. The trick is to gather at least 4 people who can help you in making posts to your new forum as a kick off. And when new members are coming in and making their own posts then that’s the time you can do forum exchange. Just my thoughts on the subject, I’m not an expert in that.
