iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security) Plugin Review

Setting up a Wordpress website always has its vulnerabilities. With the iThemes Security plugin you have over 30 ways to secure your website in order to sleep well at night I know that I've personally been the victim of little hacks that were more of a hassle and take down my website for a few hours until I secure up my pages again. With the iThemes Security plugin you can have another little safe guard that helps prevent stuff like a hack or someone trying to get in that does not have the authority to do so.

With each plugin you download to your website there is a potential that you're opening up your website to a possible hack. If you have a weak password you're also vulnerable to a hacker getting in because they could easily be using a keylogger. And another way to get hacked is having out of date software that now has vulnerabilities.

Almost all of the people who have wordpress websites never know that they are vulnerable to a hack until it actually happens. With the iThemes Security plugin you won't have to worry as much because it will help fix common holes, help stop automated attacks on you code or scripts as well as increase the strength of the users credentials to boost up login security.

This amazing plugin also has some pretty good support and is updated frequently. The last time it was updated was just 1 week ago at the time of me writing this. Now if they're updating regularly, and I'm pretty sure they do, that means they are staying up to date with all the new versions of wordpress so that their plugin stays strong and helps out all it's users. If they were not to constantly update with the new variations of wordpress then there would be plenty more hacks and sad webmasters out there

There have been over 800,000 downloads of the iThemes Security plugin and it also has loads of 5 star reviews. There are over 3,000 positive reviews and only 200ish negative 1 star reviews. That speaks a lot for a plugin because that's less than 10% of the reviewers are not liking this plugin. I'm sure if everyone was pushed to review this plugin there would be plenty more positive 5 star ratings

If you have a wordpress website, you should check out the iThemes Security plugin and test it out. There are some pro features with this plugin but you may not even need them

Razzy I have been wondering about security for my websites. I mean I just have blogs. What exactly should I be worried about and do you think that I should look at having something like this on my websites?

It's not like I have a huge e-commerce website that is highly valuable, just my little blogs. Yes I think they are quite popular little blogs as far as you know the little bloggers go... but I can't see why someone would want to attack my websites and what they would possibly get out of it.
