The Perfect Seller. - Why and How?

The Perfect Sellers.

Much like my other topic, about "the perfect clients", here's a topic about the perfect sellers.

At some point, you'll end up with sellers you can barely stand to do business with. Either due to bad communication or the feeling of them being unprofessional somehow. - But, you'll often do business with people like this at some point, because you "have to".

What decides and who is the "perfect seller" to deal with?

I would say people that communicates well, (no matter if they're native in English or not). It's important for me to know exactly what I'll get, and it's also equally important to know that the seller understands that I'm looking for.

Other than that, it's nothing truly important except the fact that they should be able to deliver what they promise. - These things are vital and these things will make me want to do business.

The perfect seller huh? I would have to say that we all have our days and nobody is perfect. If we must discuss perfection though me and a few other guys are as close as it gets. We provide the BEST communication and top notch services here on Seoclerks. With that said i dont buy very often on the site but when i do i only pic a few people to deal with. One of the sellers i deal with on a daily basis is not native in English but he has one of the best likes services on Seoclerks. When it comes to my needs he is perfect he answers within a reasonable time and he gets every order done without being late. When i message him with a question he answers as fast as he can for me this is a perfect seller.

Haha, that's great jkeyz2, I love how you've mentioned yourself like that. And I know you're just being honest, which is why I love your answer even more!

And I totally agree with you, with everything you said. The "perfect" seller is probably just something you can imagine but it's probably hard to become "THE" perfect seller, as people will always have different thoughts. - However, to me, communication is vital. Both for clients and sellers. It's the most important thing when it comes to business. I don't mind working with people not native in English or in my own native language, Swedish, but I don't work with people who doesn't respond to my questions with more than "ok" or "yes". That doesn't feel good at all.

A seller should always work hard and do his or her best to satisfy, and possibly, exceed the client's expectations. To do this the seller would need to see that the service is of the best possible quality, and that it is according to what the client wants. In many cases there are factors that the client would have specified and the seller would need to see to them, especially if it is a customized service. Then, there is the importance of credibility, professionalism and honesty, and of course, efficiency. All these coupled up with good communication skills are of the essence for a perfect seller.

Honestly speaking, I've actually worked with several sellers who doesn't provide the "best" results or quality, due to the simple fact I could see that they worked hard to reach the results I wanted. They tried to go "that extra mile" so to speak and that's important to me. It ways more than the actual results I get sometimes. Obviously not all the times and it certainly depends on the service I'm looking for, but I like to work with people who's still learning.

That's actually how I managed to get some of my team members in the past too. I went with the most hard working ones, even though they didn't produce the most. Because I could see their potential.

Yep, sellers that are responsive and good at communicating with me. Sellers that I can see have put some effort into the order. And sellers that you can see have gone "the extra mile" for you. Those that have gone above and beyond their call of duty. Those sellers that treat you like you're royalty and give you a great service time after time after time. Those sellers are like gold dust and worth their weight in gold too!

I know what you're saying about having to do business with some sellers. There are some sellers I don't want to do business with because I don't like their work ethic and attitude. They treat their orders (and you) like they don't care about the orders (or you). But I need their service, and perhaps they know this? So I have to bite my tongue, place the order and hope for the best. But I'm often finding myself chasing them up. And it's only about after trying to get their confirmation of the order on about the 5th time they realize, oh I better do this now lol.

So yeah, attitude and ethics is everything. Speed and value for service is another. But over speed and value, quality of service too.

Oooh that gets my goat Mike! When there is nobody else you can use for something and that person knows it so they just don't care how they treat you. The problem with me is that I can't hold my tongue, and a good example of this is when I had my baby store I had a printing shop near my kids play school do my printing but the owners were downright rude - to me, to other customers, to their staff, to everyone. The reason was most likely that they have no competitors in town. Anyway one day I went there and told them they are rude and I refuse to use them. Everyone in the shop stared and I said yeah we all know it. I am going to rather drive to another town LOL.

Anyway what a pain in the ass driving to the next town, but I was greeted with a smile there. And a smile makes all the difference.

I would rate communication and honesty as the number one points here. I want to know exactly what I will be getting for my money. I understand that some services take time and I understand that some of my keywords will never rank #1 on Google simply because there is too much competition so I don't want to be fed any hype or BS.

And also honesty in the light of keeping me informed if there is a delay or a problem with my order. Just tell it like it is. I'm a big girl and I can take it, if I know what I am dealing with that is fine.

And I want to know that I can have a decent conversation with the seller. It is about being able to communicate but also about the willingness to communicate.

Pardon me for saying but I don’t think the description of perfect is not appropriate. First off, what do you mean by perfect seller, is it a seller who gives in to the demand of the buyer? Or is it a seller that gives the buyer additional discount even without asking for it? Anyway, my idea of a good seller is one who is honest with the product or service that he sells. It’s just that – honesty in business.
