Those Millenial's have never had it so good! All these advertising platforms of today didn't exist when I was starting out as a webmaster, blogger and affiliate marketer for the first time! These days there is a lot more opportunity out there to make a lot of money much quicker than before. Back in the day to start a business you needed to do a lot of research and setting up. You needed to consult the help of a lawyer to get that information for you. You needed to know people and have connections to the trade your industry was in. And there wasn't much available and new ideas were hard to come up with. These days with the digital revolution there is an almost infinite amount of new ideas that people can come up with and get set up and rolling in no time. Thanks be to the power of the Internet making knowledge more freely available. Thanks as well in part to things like the power of the crowd and crowdfunding campaigns. But even without them, all the new advertising platforms that are available to advertise on. Facebook has always been good for advertising if you do a lot of testing and getting it just right so that you can target the right type of people who are interested to buy what you're advertising so that you get a good ROI on your investments.

And it's the same for these other new advertising platforms and social media site advertising campaigns. If you can find a way of tapping into that and you can advertise something that is in high demand on those platforms, then you can really get a good thing going with your investments. It's a matter of testing testing and testing. But if you find that perfect sweet ad that converts, just repeating that over and over again and pulling in as much from it as you can and then putting some of that back into the advertising and just leaving it running on auto!

I've never tried these Snapchat Filters, but I haven't still gotten around to even getting into Snapchat. I did get it a while ago but was trying to think of things I could post that would attract peoples attention in so many seconds lol. I will look into that again soon though.

Well I tend to think that advertising services, businesses, or companies (which ever you prefer to call them) are ignoring "offline" advertising. Surely we still see commercials, newspaper ads, etc but do any of you remember when you were in the city, and there was nothing but advertisements everywhere? I remember going to the mall, and there would be posters on the wall, an advertisement on a trash can, on a newspaper stand, on the floor, on the ceiling. Basically advertisements were everything, and were everywhere.

Now, since certain media, typically social media, exists it's way cheaper and easier to target advertisements to certain people. People that will actually be interested in your product based upon their likes, and internet history. So because of this "better" advertisement opportunity the physical advertisements have almost stopped entirely, or are way less than they use to be.

Where i live there are a lot of billboard ad placements. But those billboard ads often go months without an advertisement, and when they do have an advertisement it's usually for fast food restaurants like McDonalds... Mcdonalds does a lot of physical advertising. They waste a lot of money on it, so people see their brand name while out and about. So I think these physical advertisements need to make a comeback. Perhaps it's not as effective as online advertising, but replicate what mcdonalds has and is still doing, placing their ads anywhere and everywhere they can.

You know what I love? Facebook advertising! I have found that my mommy blog and Facebook just go hand in hand. There are so many moms on Facebook and it is so easy to get them to engage with my ads and to visit my website.

In just 5 years I have grown my mommy blog Facebook page to over 44 000 followers using Facebook advertising.I have found this incredibly valuable, I get so much traffic from Facebook now.

I have tried Twitter advertising but I have not found it to be such a great fit for me and my needs. I find it much easier to grow my Twitter account naturally.

Facebook Advertising is actually pretty awesome. I haven't used it too much though, so I don't have any major experience with it. But the results I got, from the few tests I did was pretty good. - I was more than satisfied actually.

I am one of those who ignore the Facebook Ads even if it looks interesting because of an incident. There was an ad of a local cheese brand in Facebook that my husband saw which indicated that I “liked” the ad. I was surprised when he asked me because I saw that ad but I never click on an ad. In another instance, the same question I got about another product that was advertised. We got the impression that Facebook is indicating that a person liked the ad even if it is not true.
