    Well you could get official answer only from staff at help desk. But as much i know it's sold most of the time because there is limited number of services which could be featured on front page, but here is over 500K services listed for sale. So, if there is more featured services available, the rest of us would never be able to appear on front page. So this way is still fair enough i guess To get featured on the front page is it by selection??? its always sold out?

    Featured slots are very hard to get. It's always high in demand as most experienced sellers would not even blink if they got the opportunity to feature one of their services. However, it's a feature you'll have to purchase. Permanently Feature your Service for 1 Month for $375. It's obviously sold out most of the times but you could make sure to follow ionicware as they usually create a new status if and when a new featured slot becomes available.

    That being said, there's a few other options. Perhaps not as good as that one, but still some good options to consider. The first one is the Category Feature your Service for 31 Days for $50. This feature works exactly like the permanently featured one, but it works in a specific category. Another option you have is to Highlight your Service for $19. It might help you to increase sales overall.

    You could obviously also send the support a ticket and ask them if and when a featured slot becomes available, and if you're lucky, you'll be the the next featured seller. To get featured on the front page is it by selection??? its always sold out?

    Most of the time the feature is booked for many months, and there are sellers that are lined up for the featuring so it's almost always sold out. You have to keep pestering support about featuring and maybe, just maybe they will offer you a spot at some point in the distant future. But don't pester them too much, because they just may not give you the slot.. I don't know why they can not add like 2 more slots, i mean it's only 2 slots of featuring, this could bring in an additional $750 for the site but what do i know? lol

    Also, before you attempt to get your services featured, make sure it follows the featured guidelines as stated by the official service:

    • Having a clear, meaningful description. 3 Paragraphs or more with 3 sentences each seems to work well.
    • Use Bold, Italics and other text formatting in your description to highlight points much like has been done in this Service.
    • Clearly state how your service will help webmasters
    • Clearly state what you will provide when completed

    As far as I know featured slots are always booked. I personally never considered to invest at this because apart from the fee they tend to be sold out. So I just stick to bumping my services. I earn free bumps whenever I submit an order for instance, so bumps quickly add up. You can also buy paid bumps at a relatively affordable price.

    I know that the featured slots are highly sought after since I have seen a lot of people asking about them. I believe the thing is that there can only be a few featured spots otherwise the featured slot wouldn't be so exclusive would it?

    There are so many sellers here and I am sure everyone is chomping at the bit to get a featured slot!
