Is seoclerks alone capable of sustaining a living?

I want to ask a serious question. Is seoclerks alone capable of sustaining a living for a man and his family? I say this on the case of seeing so much competition among sellers that has degenerated to most of them selling services for as low as $1. You will see a seller selling a service that is worth $50 for just $1.
Even if a service is allowed to be sold for $0.1, they will surely see it at that price. SO SO SAD! This has made many sellers with good quality services not to make a good amount of income here on seoclerks.
Maybe except if the seller offers to feature his service on the front page, that may surely help him earn a good income to sustain a living but if he is just relying on paid or free bumps, that isnt enough to bring in lots of buyers compared to front-page permanent feature of a service.
All these said above are just my opinion But i want your take on this? what do you think? do you think seoclerks is sufficient enough to sustain a livelihood?

Making a full time income on SeoClerks is definitely possibly, but it really depends on how well you're known and also where you live. If you're someone that has sold tons of services and has built a good reputation, you'll be able to pull in plenty of sales from previous clients because they know you're as good as gold. Where you live matters because if you're in the Phillipines or India you can charge 1/10th of what someone in the United Kingdom or United States can for the same exact service. This is due to currency exchange rates between the different countries. Someone from the Philippines or India can charge less because they don't need as much to live on compared to the UK or USA. Minimum wage in these countries is $300 to $500 a month and if someone in the USA or UK was making that much, they would be homeless in a very short amount of time since an average fast food meal is $10 to $12 a pop.

So if you combine your location plus a competitive, but lower, pricing than your competition... You'll most likely make a great living here on SeoClerks Sometimes I wish I lived in the Philippines because I can live on $300 to $500 a month and put the rest into my savings account. Basically I'd be living like a king since I wouldn't have to pay my normal $1,600 a month on just rent. My bills all together total up around $2,000. So if I don't make a minimum of 2k selling my services then I can't push my company to further heights. I'd basically be spinning my wheels since I couldn't profit much at the end of the month lol

I actually don't sell my services here on SeoClerks because I charge too much compared to the sellers here. I have side projects that bring in some passive income and I have my main revenue stream from my SEO and Online Marketing firm.

Yep! That's exactly why I need to move out of rip of Britain and emigrate to a country where I can live like a king for a year for what I make in a month on here lol. And it's something I find myself asking myself more and more. Why am I living in England where I am paying high prices for everything, where it's always cold and usually raining. When I could be sitting on a beach somewhere doing this on a laptop while someone in a straw skirt brings me coconut cup drinks. Where I can live in a 5 star hotel for a year on what would only get me a few weeks rent here. Why am I not doing that!? Seriously. I think I could probably do that for a long time on just my SEOClerks earnings alone.

I so much love your response so far. truly speaking i think one should create multiple source of income and not just reply on one source and surely also it truly depends on location but all in all, i am happy that am not just replying on seoclerks as my only source, i have other sources too and am happy about it.
as for the certain factors you talk about, i think the factors are featuring your service on forntpage, with that, you will urely get an unending stream of buyers trooping in to buy your service, no wonder these sellers odnt want to relinquish the frontpage to someone else, month after month, they are always there. i just wish i could get that frontpage position someday.

This was a great question chetaseo!

I definitely believe that you CAN make a living on SEOClerks.. But I all honesty, I think MOST people are doing whatever they can to generate a side income. A few dollars extra each month goes a very long way if you have a day job, and I bet most freelancers on SEOClerks have day jobs, or at least other businesses alongside with their SEOClerks venture.

Personally, I work full time online and it's difficult for me to earn a full time income each and every month. - I find it difficult as the market is changing, new competitors are jumping in and also due to the fact that clients won't always be in need of the services. And that ultimately ends up in less money for me at the end of the month. That being said, some months are definitely better than other ones and one month I could literally earn more than 5 times the amount I would have earned from a day job. - And that's the biggest reason for me to be a freelancer. Due to the fact that I love freelancing and being my own boss obviously, but also that the paycheck I get will vary depending on more than one factor. And most of these factors can be changed by my own approach and mindset.

Anyhow, I don't think that most people on SEOClerks are making a living off their earnings here. I do believe that a handful of people are doing it, and there's probably more than a handful of users which I'm not aware of that are doing it too. - But most people definitely NOT make a living off their SEOClerks earnings. Even though they might act like as they do.

That's also the beauty with freelancing, that there are no limits. You can work on hundreds of things simultaneously, work with or for 50 different people from all over the world at the same time and still refer it to be "your business" as you're not limited to have only one service or product you provide. You can sell eBooks alongside with your Social Media services or physical products like children's toys even though you're an article writer. - There's literally endless of possibilities!

wow,. that means for someone to make a good source of living from seoclerks, obviously he has to permanently feature his service on the frontpage,.. that is the only way out. but this same thing cannot be said of fiverr as you can get a make it a good source of living even if your service gig isnt featured on the frontpage by the staff.
But on a final note, it is better for someone to have many source of earnings from different sites or businesses instead of just relying on one source. i think that pays much better.

The permanent feature is obviously a vital thing for success on SEOClerks, as long as you have a great service. However, you don't necessarily? need to feature your service to make a living on SC, but it will definitely help!

About the comparison to Fiverr, or at least the statement of Fiverr:
Unfortunately, I don't have any real numbers at this time, but I guess Fiverr has about 50+ times the traffic in total, or perhaps even more than that, which obviously makes it easier to make sales over all, as it's tons of more buyers. But, it's also at the same time tons of more competition amongst the sellers. - If you look at the top rated sellers on Fiverr and compare them to user level 2 sellers, you'll see that there's often a HUGE difference between their orders in queue.. And it's basically the same in general on SC too. That users with higher user levels will have a better change of making sales in the long run.

Also, SEOClerks is the largest SEO marketplace, meanwhile Fiverr is the largest $5 marketplace in the world. You can basically sell your own poo on Fiverr and you'll never become successful on SC by selling poo. SEOClerks goal was never to become the largest marketplace in the world, it's always been aiming to be a SEO marketplace, and that goal was reached years ago.

Razzy's reply is also very true and accurate. And you'll basically see the exact same thing on Fiverr too. That people from India or the Phillipines will be able to provide more for less. The whole freelancing industry is like that, no matter where you look.

You know I think each marketplace has its different way of working and its pros and cons. I think perhaps the thing you need to look at is how you run your business, if that makes sense.

I have a number of websites and I do loads of different things to make money, from selling services here, selling services on Fiverr, selling things directly on my website, selling services on Webfluential... affiliate marketing, Adsense income, Youtube...

I do think that marketing and advertising plays a massive role when it comes to the success of a business, so yes I would think that the people that make a good full time income here do buy the featured spots simply because that would be the best way to attract customers.

I do think that SeoClerks has the potential to provide a full time income even without using those paid spots though.

I agree that perhaps it is harder to get your services noticed here perhaps that Fiverr but I don't believe in leaving it up to the market place to pull in orders for me, I believe that is my job.

No I do not think you can lead a good standard of living by working here only. Seoclerks offers a lot of opportunities, no doubt, but you cannot expect to rely on it only, especially due to the fact that there may come a time when you do not get any orders. You cannot always be sure that you are going to have a regular flow of income as it all depends on the buyers who may be inclined to purchase from you rather than from another seller, and as you said there is plenty of competition.

I think you can but it is very difficult and only a handful of people will be able to do it. You will require home page feature and a popular product or service if you want to make a living out of it. On SEO Clerks, there is more and more competition and it is hard to make a living out of it now but you can make some extra income as a side project. If you look at some of the featured services on the homepage, you can see a lot of them having 20+ orders currently and progress and if you do the maths, you can see that they probably earn enough to make a living out of it. Some people sell their services for $20 and if they get around 100 sales per month, this $2000 income so this is definitely possible as you can see with some of the featured services.

Those $1 services are cheap but they don't get many sales because people eventually realise that the quality of the service is very bad.

I currently make a full living on Seoclerks and have been for about 2 years. My first year here was rocky but once i got my reputation and sales rolling in in a big way i never looked back. I am proud and happy to say that i support myself my wife and 3 kids and 2 dogs only working on Seoclerks. I do other things to make extra money like buying and selling things for profit but my main source of income is Seoclerks. I can honestly say with people dropping the prices so low it is not proving to be a easy task anymore like it use to be.

When i started on here on the site prices where 10 times higher than the are now which gave people a sense of quality. Its so sad to hear when people say that we are the cheap fake services site. I live in one of the cheapest places to live in the country and my cost of living is super low. This is the main reason im able to work from home and pay all my bills. Yes Seoclerks pays all my bills and im proud and happy to say i work here.

It is amazing that you are the breadwinner of your family and managed to earn it all, or most of it, from here. You must have a lot of regular clients to manage to do this? Aren't you afraid that there could be some months when you do not get that many orders and so you will have less income?

I would say yes, I personally made a living out of SEOclerks for a couple of years, to be fully honest I also sold my services on other marketplaces as well as directly to old clients but SEOclerks was my main source of revenue and in some months my only source of revenue!

I wasn't married back then and me and my wife weren't moved together yet so I have very low living expenses. I could make a living only from SEOclerks right now but I would have to re-invent my services as well as develop totally new ones.

I would assume that I could. If I stopped doing everything that I am doing now, and just sticked to selling PHP scripts only, I probably make a living. I don't have a high rent amount since I am basically renting a room. Plus, i do not have a car, but there is a car I can use. I do however have to pay for all my other extra expenses such as groceries, toiletries, tax, you name it. So far, I can live sustainably. If there was ever a time in which I could not live comfortably then I would take up a part time job somewhere to make ends meet. I really wish I would could bank on my services tho, but unfortunately I have to go elsewhere for the profit other than to sell services.. really sad.

That's what I asked myself when I joined SEO Clerks. I have listed to products on SEO Clerk and I am yet to make my first sales.
I have been on number of freelancer site similar to SEO clerks, while I could never live off the money I made on these sites, it was definitely a good income source.
In order to make money on freelancer sites, your skills need to be above general. In other words, if you want to make a living from freelancer sites, your general skill such writing articles, will never earn you much because these days everyone is a writer. You need specialized article writing skills, SEO articles for instance, or perhaps articles on programing or designing tutorials.
