Chicago Cubs Win The World Series In Game 7!!!!!

They finally did it!!!!!!

The Chicago Cubs Won The World Series After A 108 Year Dry Spell!!!!!

With all the heavy hitters on the cubs, they finally pulled it together and won the world series! The chicago cubs are comprised of a lot of young guns and one "Grandpa" catcher lol

All the time that was put into training, practice, and playing the actual games to get to the big stage finally paid off!

It's been a long road that took 108 years, but it was an amazing journey

My grandparents were die hard cubs fans but I grew up on the south side of Chicago. A lot of people will say that I'm a band wagon fan, but I'm just glad that a team from Chicago pulled it off and won 1st place in the MLB! I won't be jumping around like my other family members, but I am glad that they won it after all those years

What do you guys and girls think?

Do you think the cubs were the better team and deserved the win? Do you think all the calls the umpire made were accurate?

There are so many things running through everyones head in Chicago right now and there are a ridiculous amount of people outside of Wrigley Field cheering

This post is for you, Chicago Cubs. I'm sure Harry Caray would be chugging a bear and screaming until he lost his voice

Will they be able to defend the trophy next year against all the great teams? Or do you think they will screw it up and have the goat curse come back to haunt them?

Wow this is a historical moment for the Chicago Cubs and for the whole world. I feel like I've gone back in time when Marty Mcfly was telling Biff that the cubs would win the World Series from the Sports Almanac he had. I'm sure you remember in Back To The Future 2...

I don't personally follow baseball, I like to play it, although not quite how it's officially played, more bat and ball in the park if you know what I mean. Oh and I used to play and enjoy playing rounders at school as well. Rounders is sort of like baseball. That was about the only bat and ball game I used to enjoy playing. Never really liked cricket that much, found it had too many rules and wasn't really that much fun.

But congrats to the Chicago Cubs! That's a truly historical landmark moment. It just goes to show that you should never quit and give in, keep pressing forwards toward achieving your dreams, keep practicing and practicing after all, practice makes perfect right?

This is really a big day for Chicago and they need it. As you said it has been a long time since they have won a world series and the win was well deserved. I have many friends on Faceboook that are going crazy over this world series. The amount of revenue it brought to the city during this times was amazing! We are talking tens of millions that went into media and marketing alone. The sales of clothes and other memorabilia was also in the tens of millions during this time. I am a Mets fan so this year was not my year buahhahaha! I love baseball and im glad the sport has survived all these years. I cant wait to take my kids to a baseball game for the first time. Thank you for sharing this topic! Mike nice video that was cool, that movie predicted so many things that have actually come true its crazy! I should have put some money on the cubbies! lol
