Do you think that Android Wear are competing well against Apple smartwatch?

I have been going over reviews and articles on these smart watches. I was aware of the professional and pricey Apple smartwatch, but had no idea about the Android Wear alternatives. They seem to be doing quite well on the market since they are cheaper and yet offer more customization to users. What do you think? Do you own one yourself? In that case, can you give your opinions from your personal experience? I have been hoping to buy the Apple smartwatch but it is way too expensive for me, so I was considering if the Android Wear may be worthwhile?

I don't think Samsung wants anymore trouble in any markets honestly. When it comes to mobile technology Apple is leading the way no matter what. They revolutionized the mobile market with the iPhone which is now in its 7th generation. I don't think things like smart watches will be very popular until its something that everyone needs. The fact is that you do not need a smart watch if you already have a smart phone that does everything already. When it comes to comparison Apple Inc is unmatched, Retina Display, the A8 chip, and more. This is the only company that has anything like this. I truly believe that Apple is superior when it comes to mobile tech. What you buy depends on what kind of phone you have, you cant use an android watch with an iPhone. Thanks for sharing!

Like do you have any links to anything? I don't personally own a smartwatch. I was given one for Christmas last year but it was this generic one and it could only be used with an Android and I'm an Apple user so I think I sold it on eBay in the end lol. But I wouldn't mind having one. The good thing about these things is that these days there is much more choice and variety out there and you don't have to just go with one of the biggest, main brands like Apple or whoever and can find a good Android smartphone for a reasonable price. That said, if you do spend a little more you can get quite good ones now as well with all the features that you want in a smartwatch like Wifi, Bluetooth, SMS texting, apps, docs, heart monitor and all of that.

I'm just saying, look around first and check out other smart watches on the market first before you go with Apple or another brands Android smartwatch. Although at least one thing if you go with Apple you will know you're getting a quality item that works and works well but you can still find some others out there today that can almost compete on par with Apple in terms of quality and features for a cheaper price.

I've never owned any smartwatch, but I've seen and heard a lot about them. Now from what I've seen Android wear price is more cheaper comparing to Apple watch, but I think you'll need to choose a smartwatch that is compatible with your phone, if you're an Iphone user then you'll need apple watch or android wear if you're an android user. However, I'm not sure but I think you can connect any type of smartwatch to any smartphone, but, it's not like the original smartwatch which gives you full access to apps and many other features. Personally whenever I want to buy something I prefer to take a look on youtube first, just because I want to know what I'm going to buy.

Android Wear can actually be compared with any OS, be it Android or Apple from what I read. However the quality is not as high as that of an apple smartwatch for sure. However, there is a lot of options in terms of customization.

I actually wait for the Black Friday sales to buy a smart watch or a fitness bracelet, I think I can get a good deal if not well I'll buy a classic watch. Android Wear should be a good option but I don't really see the value of paying that price just yet.

I own an LG G3 so I'm thinking to buy an LG smartwatch too, thought everything I've seen online point to a pretty expensive gear, almost as expensive as the phone was when I bought it.
