I think I might just be making my first WTB or perhaps even a WTT but I am not quite sure how that would work.
So here is my thing, I have a really awesome idea for a website. I have bought my domain name, I have added a free theme and put up a coming soon notice on it.
I have spoken to a number of businesses and people in my area and I am all revving to go right?
But now I don't have the skills and the ability to move past this point and I don't have a lot of money to throw at this project although I think it will really kick off nicely.
I need a plugin but I can't find something that adequately covers my needs. I don't think I want a script because I don't like the idea of having code on my website that I don't understand.
I have no idea how much something like this might costs so I don't know where to get started.
You know what would be really awesome? Is like a coding partner. Someone that can code this plugin and then if there are any technical glitches or issues any time they can deal with it while I do all the content creation and marketing...
But how do I trust someone to hold their side of the bargain and be there if there are any problems?
Has anyone got any feedback or suggestions for me? Razzy this is probably right up your alley and something you have faced before.

I will have a think and then get hold of you with what my idea is and see if you can get something made up for me! I am so excited now.

I know what you mean about having and using erroneous code on your site. Code that was written by some guy that you're supposed to assume and take as gospel that it does what it's supposed to do and doesn't do anything else. But how can you be sure? How can you know that that code isn't doing something else like something nefarious like stealing your sites users cookies, login details etc etc?
I think there are actually some free online tools you can run scripts through that check it for things like that. Actually, most of those only check for code that matches code they know to be a virus/trojan or something. They can't tell you what they will be doing due to the complexity of written code and that it often comes in many separate, individual files that make up the full script.
For that reason, it's always best to hire a professional coder outlet, business or organization or even someone you know and trust like Abid! :D

That is a good point, and it's something to consider when you are installing something on your website specially when you don't know too much about it. But I really don't think that they will do that specially if they are serious on their job, now I'm not saying that has not happened before, because it really depends what the script does. However, abid is here, so I'm sure he will help you with what you need. :)
