I won't reveal the actual product or service, as it wouldn't bring anything of value to this question. The thing is, that I have something in mind, that I would like to provide..
But I have several competitors who's providing more or less the exact same thing. And most of them provide it for about 3-5 times less than I would provide it for. Why some people can and will provide specific things for less than others often depends on the country and the living expenses and such. However, that's not the case in this scenario.
In this scenario, I feel like I would never in my life provide it for the same costs as others are doing, as it involves too much time and work.
In other scenarios I would do this with a small twist. I would not only sell the service or product, I would sell myself too. I would include my customer support, my knowledge and my tutoring, but I can't really do that in this case. - So what can I do?
It would be good if you could list a service, but instead of putting a price for it. People could send you how much they would be willing to pay for it. Even better if you could set a minimum amount they can put for it and then you could choose whether to accept the amount they put and the service start for them. Or both. Be able to list a price for it or send best offer. Kind of like how eBay does with it's BIN or Send Best Offer auctions. You can list something for $500 whatever and also have option where they can send you their best offer for it too. I guess it would be cool if people could bid a little less than you're asking price so you could do it if you really wanted to just for to keep the money coming in but some people might bid more than your asking price and then that could be very well worth having such a feature like that don't you think? :D

I actually thought of outsourcing this. Basically just buy it from my competitors and add something myself to it, and profit. - After all, that's more or less how I started out online. - That's what I did in the early days and that was the very first stepping stone in my career and I've been working online full time for about 5 years now.
That being said, I've had enough of outsourcing. Well, I would prefer not to outsource at least. - Especially when I know that I can provide the things I can, and do it properly and I can't vouch for my competitors quality. I don't want to risk my reputation and credibility by outsourcing something I can't vouch for. - Thanks for your input though, you made some great points! :)

Wow, such fancy words Mike. Pontificator. Really? - I'm from Sweden. Enough said okay? - I don't know what that means :D
However, I've been doing exactly that. Breaking down things into smaller questions. I often tend to do this whenever I'm confused or need to think "outside the box". That's basically what I do when I need another perspective on things. I break things down in smaller parts.
Anyhow, one of the benefits of having a X5 badge on SEOClerks, or reputation and credibility on any other site or within business, is just that. You can charge more for the same, because of who you are. - However, I personally don't like to increase my prices. I prefer to lower them, so I would need to go out high and decrease the costs..
That being said, I've done that previously, with other services and products and it often makes me feel bad for the past clients I've had. A client place their order at $50 and one week later another client pays $30. - I always feel bad for the first client and I usually try to refund them some of the cash. - Well, yeah. I'm stupid. :D

I totally agree with you and customer care is the most important part of my business. - My entire business is based on customer support. It's the foundation of my business and I wouldn't provide a service or product without superb support. Heck, I was even offering support when I sold social media services.. Like anyone would need support? -But I did offer my clients support in case they needed it! :D

Thank you chetaseo for your input, I appreciate it. - I do know that I will be able to make sales. I will get orders, I'm 101% certain of it. However, and please do understand me correct here, I don't want 5 orders per week when I know that I could get 10 orders by doing things differently. And that's just the thing. I don't really know what I could do different, as my "usual extra things" like support etc. doesn't really work in this scenario. - Perhaps I should try to combine this with another, perhaps even similar service too? - That way it wouldn't be weird to ask for a higher price than my competitors. - What do you think?
