How much-indexed pages had you lost and in what time frame? Have you done and implemented any black hat SEO techniques that may get you panelized? If not, don't worry about it.
Also, what about you current Google index status? Are you using index pages on Google too? Also, maybe you did some structure changes to your website that created a lot of 404 errors, so make sure you check those out!
