Microsoft Flow - Automation Tool Released by Microsoft

Recently Microsoft has launched its own automation tool called Microsoft Flow, which is a service completely free for all, even though it’s still in preview mode , and as it seems , they will add free, and paid version in the near future. Microsoft Flow is an automation tool which allows you to automate your task, there are +120 different flow templates that you can use, furthermore you can create your own flow from scratch, where you can create up to 25 flows. To use Microsoft Flow you need only an email account at Microsoft.

Microsoft Flow - Automation Tool Released by Microsoft

Basically Microsoft Flow is almost the same thing with IFTTT and Zappier, but would be interesting to see if Microsoft will succeed with this.

What do you think about Microsoft Flow?

A lot of animation is currently being done by top websites, we have Google, and now Microsoft launching automated applications. I wonder what the future of the internet is? Perhaps everything, or most things will be done automatically? It's very interesting to see this trend, and more interesting to see how exactly this trend plays out.

At what point do we as Internet users say we want either more or less automation? I'm so glad that things are being automated, I try to automate everything I do so I don't have to spend time doing it. Lol.

Yeah, I'm trying to do the same thing, because doing many things in the same time it's not easy, so using automation tools like Microsoft Flow is the only way to do that. I just joined there, and I have a lot of templates to explore before creating something myself. They are still in preview mode, so hope we'll see new thing very soon.

Oh this sure looks interesting. I am in agreement here, anything that can automate the things I do and make things easier for me is amazing.

I have a policy where I try and make the most amount of money in the least amount of time with me doing as little as possible. And no I am not lazy by any means.I will work all day and night to achieve my goals. I just mean that I don't see the point in doing things that can be done for me.

I'm going to check this out, I am not familiar with IFTT or Zappier.

This looks promising at first glance. There is a big list of services being offered, see below. It is going to take a lot of time to figure out how use and implement each one.

It will be interesting to see what developers will do for custom application via the API. Any ideas?
I am also wondering what service(s) below would everyone want to automate? What would be your favorites? How would you want them to work to increase your efficiency?

Yeah they have a lot of services to choose, and it's not hard to implement them, you need only to choose the right template that you want to use.

I think that depends, because there are a lot of possibilities to built anything you want from scratch, the most important thing is that whenever a new flow is created it will go under review by the Microsoft, and it will be published once they review them. This is a good idea because people will have options to use high quality flow templates.

That depend in your needs, for instance, as a programmer I'll need to test all of those services and see if i can create something that people need.

Oh wow that is a long list Webguy2024! I would need some time to figure out what all of those are before I could choose. A lot of them I have never even heard of.

There is always something new coming out. It is getting quite hard to try and keep up with everything.

I couldn't agree with you more on that one Webguy2024. It is awesome that there is so much to use and check out but on the other hand I often feel quite bombarded with all the tools, social networks and other nifty things to make use of online!

Ohh this is sort of M$'s version of IFTTT then in a way. Which is an automation tool in and of itself. But with a twist in its own unique way. I would imagine that this has as much practical use to using it as using an IFTTT recipe can have as well. It basically works exactly the same way in that you can have things done for you based on things that happen. Such as make a tweet if a keyword is found on some website or whatever. I've looked through their current existing templates and actually they don't have that many. I wanted to try and find something for Pinterest so it could pin something to a certain board for me when a tweet or something is found but sadly it doesn't have anything for automating Pinterest. I would imagine though in the future, more templates and services are added. I hope!

Yeah I'm sure that they will add more templates and services soon, because currently their service is in preview mode, which means that they have a lot to fix or to implement. Hope that the official release will be something good.

I checked out the service. And I find it really good. I think microsoft is doing really good in this direction. Considering how the tool is going to work same as the IFTTT and Zapier. You can see that some of such services are not completely free. And microsoft offering those options are same price can be something worth going forward to. I'd definitely consider that as an option.
