I wanted to start a discussion about this because i am a Bitcoin miner! im also a crypto currency investor! People want to know whether this kind of investment is profitable or worth it to get into. The answer is YES! Bitcoin alone has risen from about 240 to over 610 USD in the past 3 years, Thats over 160%. The banks and IRA investments donut even equal to 10% of that over 3 years. In Fact if ?If Bitcoin takes over one-third of the world's remittance market, the price of the bitcoin would go up over 15,000 per one coin! Its safe to say we are still in the infancy of Bitcoins but the potential is rite infront of you. What do you think i would love to hear from you guys.

Bitcoin is a currency like cash except its digital only, you can use it to buy anything! Unlike stocks Bitcoin can be exchanged the same way as cash person to person. The other main difference is that you do not have to buy Bitcoin like you do stocks you can do what called "Cryptocurrency mining" and basically you buy computers and run them in your garage (Like i do) and make a monthly income.

Ok so I totally understand that crytocurrency is the way of the future but for some reason I just can't get how it works.
So maybe you can make a dummy like me understand exactly how it all works. I don't understand the concept of mining it. I also don't understand how it appears to be completely independent from real money? I don't know if my confusion and my question makes sense to you but this crytocurrency doesn't make sense to me.
