    What happens when, say 30 people bump service in the same category?

    Where will my service appear among the bumped services , is there some criteria as to which service will be given preference based on feedback, recommendations etc

    Well there is only one factor that will control who's at the top, and that is if the seller purchased featuring. If there is featured services within the category than that group will battle it out and usually the last to bump will appear first (as Lynne already stated). This is also the same for sellers who didn't buy featuring for their services.

    Oh yes of course, featured listings would be first and then what about paid bumps Everett Do paid bumps go above other bumps? Or are all bumps equal?

    I think it would be that the last person to bump would be at the top... until the next person bumps.

    Well its simple, the last one to bump his/hers service gets to be first, until another sellers comes along and bumps its services in the same category.
