How to find windows 10 key code

I pay for the Windows license is active but where is the code?

if my computer crashes? how to put windows if I have no code?

From which place did you bought that license? Also, are you sure that you have purchased a genuine copy of windows from windows store?

If yes, which version of windows 10 have you bought? The downloadable(ISO) version or USB version?

Anyway, it doesn't matter which version you've bought, because once you place your order there you'll get all details to your email address, and of course that in details is included your product key too.

According to Microsoft:

The location of your product key depends on how you got your copy of Windows:

From an authorized retailer. The product key should be on a label or card inside the box that Windows came in.

A new PC running Windows. The product key will be pre–installed on your PC, included with the packaging the PC came in, or included on the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) attached to the PC.

A digital copy from a Microsoft website. The product key will be in the confirmation email you received after buying it. Or it may be distributed as a digital license if you bought Windows 10, in which case you won't receive a product key.

Free upgrade to Windows 10. If you upgraded to Windows 10 for free from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, you'll have a digital license instead of a product key. For more info about digital licenses in Windows 10, see Activation in Windows 10.

Hi

once you have windows 10, you no longer ever need your key code depending on the verison you buy. If its an upgrade or an OEM version, you can install windows 10 on the same machine as many times as you want, as it will auto activate over the internet as they tie it to the machine rather then a licence code now.

if your computer crashes or you need to reinstall. as long you are connected to the internet it WILL automatically reactivate without an issue.

Windows 10 OEM versions have no license keys, even with retail the license keys arent really important unless you are moving the OS to a new computer entirely.

Microsoft now tie in the license to the motherboard and hardware of your computer now, instead of using license keys.

if it was a retail full one which you "own fully" (eg: oem ones are owned to 1 machine only, you cant transfer, while full retail means you can remove it from a machine and use it on another), the code will be on the CD disc/USB stick depending where you bought it and you will have to transfer the licence from the old machine. (or in an email if from the website)

the downside to windows 10 really. if you change 3 parts of your computer over the lifetime, windows 10 will become void thinking its a new computer and you will have to buy another licence, or convince microsoft its the same computer.

Therefore. I personally recommend you always buy a retail full license.even if its for that extra £25 ($30)

Cool thing to know. Very informative. I'm still running Windows 7 at the moment but I'm thinking I should update for a long time now, a lot of friends told me that Windows 10 is cool enough to worth the switch from Windows 7.

Sanfora, I believe dragonwolf5589 gave you a great answer. I also think you should start re-installing and if windows don't ask for any registration key, then it means you are good to go, so just enjoy.
