Webflow is the best all in one online design platform that allows you to built anything you want from scratch without writing codes. It’s simply drag & drop tool.

What is Webflow?

It’s a web design tool, CMS, and hosting platform in one.

Everything it’s online so you don’t have to download or install anything on your computer, you simply need to register your account to webflow, and that’s it.

They offer free and paid version, of course free version is limited but they still allow you to create or to edit some of their free templates, but in order to export files of the website or something that you’ve created, you need to switch to paid version.

Nice pro. That's pretty damned snazzy. I like how these drag n' drop web builders are getting more and more sophisticated today. And it used to be that the code they generated was bulky and a bit of a mess. Even if the design was looking good. But now it looks like that even the code is being optimized as well and only using the CSS that's required from the elements and not tons of other random code too.

But with Webflow you're also getting SEO friendly code too through Alt tags placement,Open Graph, XML and meta titles etc. And tons of other components like GA and MailChimp integration. Customizable forms, sliders and carousels and tons of other components.

The pricing isn't that bad either. Usually the pricing for these things is quite high but I guess they have a lot more competition these days what with the technology to make a site like this being much more available than it used to be.

Would be nice if they let you export simple designs for free but I presume it's more geared towards those that need it on a major scale such as creating sites for clients "on the fly" without having to sit there and sift through tons of code to make sure it's optimized.

Exactly Mike! Webflow it's simply a powerful design platform, and extremely easy to use without seeing any tutorial or something else. I like too much web based apps like Webflow, as sometimes downloading and installing softwares it's a bit annoying, especially when it comes to web design softwares.

If you ask me, they offer some really good, and fair prices, even if you choose to not upgrade your account, they still allow you to use their platform, furthermore they gives you a free subdomain where you can publish your projects.

That is very neat, and it's a savior for those that want to create something themselves but don't know where to start or are not savvy to template design. I am usually against such applications because I feel that you should try to learn to code HTML, CSS and create your own templates however this seems like it would really help those that need it. However, if you were to use the free version you are not allowed to download the template, which is an issue if you don't want to pay. I would recommend this tool to learn a couple things, however since you can't download your end result it's basically then considered as a learning app.

Yeah I know what you mean. Webflow is like many other web builders but a little bit more advanced and easy to use. It's a nice tool for anyone who is not familiar with coding, but not only. Also, I like how they have implemented 3 different services in the same place.

Well..I think it is understandable that they do not allow to export files in free version, but even in free version you still can create anything you want, and after that you can publish your website to your subdomain, which is completely free by them. However, if anyone want to export their website they should upgrade their accounts first.

Now this isn't Wordpress right? I wonder if I would be able to work something like this since I have only worked in Wordpress.

How would you then get cool things that the Wordpress plugins offer? And how would you do on page SEO for a website built with Webflow? Sorry probably all stupid questions but I honestly would love to know.

You're welcome Lynne! No it's not wordpress, It's just a web builder platform, and I think it's mostly for those who needs to build custom things.

On Page SEO can be done very easily, you need only to edit the html files manually with an text editor, and that's it. Unfortunately you can't use wp plugins to html templates, but I know that there are many scripts (javascript, html, php) which do the same thing as wp plugins. If you find extremely hard to edit them manually, you can use CMS , because they offer CMS templates too.
