Write the reason you're deleting this FAQ
It seems to me that email marketing is a method that is being avoided or not made good use of by many. Many seem to think that it is useless, and that emails simply get filtered as spam, or that recipients delete them as soon as they get them. But I do not think that this is the case if one makes sure that a proper email marketing campaign is devised and that these aspects are seen to carefully:
1. The title.
2. The timing to send the emails.
3. The content and what is being offered/communicated in that email.
In conclusion I believe that Email marketing should not be avoided, or substituted by social media marketing, but rather, one should make good use of it by aiming at increasing retention and open rates. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

They say "the money is in the list" and they say it because that's what it is. Having a large email subscriber database of people who have manually opted in to receive newsletters and promotions on things they might be interested in can supplement your income. But one does have to adopt a good technique in how its done and use some email etiquette. Such as not sending too many and not always sending offers and promotions to buy things but occasionally sending important information and articles on things they will find useful.
That way it keeps them subscribed. Where as some people just send too many emails that all contain affiliate links all the time and that just puts people off and makes them hit the unsubscribe link faster than a cat running across a hot tin roof! Well, as long as there is email and people are using it, there will always be email marketing.
