There have probably been over 1,000 times that I've read online "I have $X,XXX to invest in a clothing company. How can I set everything up?" and of course the sharks start swimming because they smell blood in the water lmao 
I'll usually piss off these sharks or harpies because I'll go into detail about how I set up a profitable website selling physical products and I've never actually had one of the items in my hand lol I'll go over how to get traffic, sourcing quality items, and basically setting up everything to work on autopilot
And that's what I'm going to do here ;)
This might take a while if you're not familiar with the shopify dashboard. But after you get into 5+ products added you should be able to hammer out more listings in a quicker time. You can post a WTB here on SeoClerks or any other freelance type website and post your requirements and what you're willing to pay. There is actually a decent amount of work involved in this so if you do outsource everything you might have to pay a pretty penny unless you hire someone in India or the Philippines.
Nice tutorial Raz! You definitely make it all sound pretty straight forward and tempting to try. I'm sure this will/could inspire/motivate many people into trying it out. I never knew Shopify give $100 Adwords voucher. I've opened two Shopify stores in the past but have never actually got around to adding my first products to it LOL.. The first was when drones was big I was thinking of selling all the best drones on there but most people who spend big like to go directly to the manufactures site and buy it for some reason. The other I can't even remember I think I was looking at using it sell SEO Services and the like but not sure why I didn't add the first service, I think it was for physical products only. But I don't remember getting a $100 Adwords voucher. I guess that's an offer you'll see after you've actually added your first few products.
Anyway I like how you've mentioned how you can use aliexpress and how they can brand things for you, I'm guessing that would be something to look into doing if you are selling a lot of something. If you're putting a lot of business their way. But only in bulk! :)
It is just all the admin work that puts me off a little. I get that nothing worth doing is ever easy to do and to see success you have to work hard. Which can mean many hours spent adding new products, descriptions and doing SEO for them. Managing peoples orders or responding to emails and chasing people up, all the paper work, sending etc etc.
That said it does look like a fairly sound business model and one that could be upscaled to the high heavens.
Now to find something on Amazon that sells a lot regardless to the seasons or weather. :D

Do you mean you're being outranked by Amazon in the SERPs for the same product/keywords? The thing is, all those sites that sell Amazon products are linking to Amazon. And linking to them from the same product pages as well so that massively boosts Amazon ranking in the SERPs alone. Even if you have great on-page SEO and a better, more engaging description, review etc, and have the off-page SEO to boot, Amazon will still rank high for it as it was the original source of it and Google always ranks the original and first content higher naturally.
But yes it's true that due to the range of things you can buy on Amazon, it's putting a lot of high street retailers out of business or at least denting their profits anyway! And it is harder to compete and rank today due to not only all the competition today but also the all the Google algorithm updates as well.
It just takes much longer today than it did before and is more work and a lot more to take into consideration. It's like you can only succeed if you've got a large team behind you, a massive budget and many resources. But there is still demand out there, and still many untapped niches and up and coming ones.
Just gotta find em'. Gotta catch em all! :D

You know I had an online baby store here in South Africa and the work and expense that goes into getting clothing manufactured, then storing it, packaging it and then the logistics... It was an awful load of work, plus add in all the website maintenance and promoting the offers.
Well lets just say that I got tired of all the work and closed my store at the beginning of this year since I learned that there are so many other ways (easier ways) to make money online.
I haven't tried this out but I did come across Shopify after I had paid so much to have a website designed specially for me. If I had known about them I probably would have gone that route!
Anyway log story short, I really think I would much prefer to try something like this in future if I wanted to go back into sales. Thanks Razzy this is great.
