    suggestion to seoclerks about bumps

    i would suggest seoclerks to give everyone 5 free bumps per day like they did in the past and will avoid alot of stuggel people write faq quastions just to earn some free bumps if they care about buying bumps the people if want more they sure they will buy it

    who is with me in that suggestion,

    I disagree.
    By giving all sellers on SEOClerks 5 free bumps per 24 hours will cause only 1 thing in my opinion.
    • The service rotation on the marketplace will be insane and it will decrease exposure.


    I can totally relate and understand why some people would want bumps for free, especially newcomers and people interested in money alone. I do understand that SEOClerks is a marketplace and that means money, but for me, this place is worth so much more than dollars.

    I care about SEOClerks. I've always cared about SEOClerks. I've been promoting it since the day I got here. I've gained more than 1000 affiliates due to my advertising and I've made a decent amount of money from sales too.. What I don't want here, is a bunch of freeloaders.

    None     of the users on SEOClerks are entitled free bumps in my opinion. The bump feature is optional. It's a chance given to users to get more exposure for their services on the marketplace. If people started to promote their own services instead of relying on SEOClerks traffic alone, then things would be easier for the sellers. Now we've all got a chance. That chance is the same for everyone. Submit FAQ's and be rewarded.. People who doesn't want to create FAQ's have another option. To pay for the bumps. I can't see any problem with this at all.

    no it was 5 free bumps per user and was no change in marketplace same as today
    we should do a poll for back 5 free bumps in 24 hrs per user feature

    I guess you down-voted my reply as I didn't agree with your statement?

    Do you have any statistics to back up what you said? - "There was no change?"
    I don't have any statistics at all that backs up the things I said, I just go by experience.

    Let me break this down to you. (I'll use 1000 active sellers in this example.)

    - 1,000 people with 5 bumps each. That's 5,000 services that will be bumped to the first page on the marketplace, each day. - Don't you think that your service will automatically get less exposure when 999 other users are bumping their services too? - As I said, I don't have the real numbers here, but I bet there's more than 1000 active sellers on SEOClerks.

    - How many active people do you see in the Community Discussions? - 5? 10? 15?
    - How many new FAQ's do you see, from different people each day? - 5? 10? 15?

    Do you think you benefit from earning bumps by submitting FAQ's or by getting 5 bumps each day? Do you benefit more from actually contributing or just by getting things for free?

    - The competition would be insane if every user got 5 free bumps per day.
    People who are active now and people who're submitting FAQ's now are the ones who will benefit the most. Now is the time to be active to earn the bumps. That way you'll decrease the competition and ultimately end up with better results.

    i totally agree with you Andre. The members that contribute to making this community and this website a better place should be rewarded.

    The market place will be hectic with so many free bumps per day, I sincerely doubt other online marketplaces give sellers free bumps every day.

    In fact my personal opinion is that even the current system where members that contribute to the FAQ's get rewarded with free bumps should be evaluated! The whole point of being rewarded for contributing to the community is to encourage members to contribute something of value.

    yes, i am also agree with it,
    it is must like this to get free bumps likes 5 per day
    it is should change a lot of this discussion because of it, many people tried to get bumps by it
    it is totally making spam,

    it was like this in the past but seoclerks changed it i dont know why i think just because people buy paid bumps but free bumps will not stop people buying it as paid bumps has more value

    i think 5 free bumps everyday to everyone will solve alot of problems

    Not it will not solve any problems. In fact, it will recreate a lot of previous problems.
    I think hitmeasap just gave a perfect explanation on why 5 free bumps a day would be a bad thing.

    Trust me, you'll actually get less sales in that chaos, it's a no-win situation.

    There is no poll and everyone is entitled to their opinion Sanfora and to provide an answer or feedback or comment on this thread. You cannot tell people to stay away. Their opinions and comments are just as valid and valuable as those of sellers too. I've been thinking this over and I have to say that this would actually be a very bad idea. The reasons for it are that since everyone would be bumping their services every day, your service wouldn't get half as much chance of being seen as it would how it is now.

    I personally think you are grumbled because you have to earn them by posting discussions here. But there are also other ways of earning free bumps as well remember.

    From the social bumps page.

    • Earn one free bump per day for logging in (1 per account and all linked)
    • Complete an order on time (2 per day)
    • Generate an affiliate sale for $5 or more (2 per day)
    • Generate a service sale for $5 or more (2 per day)
    • Create/ask a new topic/question on the FAQ (2 per day)


    Doing all these things can earn you up to 5 free bumps per day. You log in each day right? You complete some ones order every day right? You are generating affiliate sales every day right? You are creating a new service or getting a new sale each day right? And you are posting 1-2 topics/questions to the CD per day right? If you said yes to all of these questions, then you can earn up to 9 free bumps per day!

    You can only bump a maximum of 5 services per day anyway. So you should have bumps stacked you can use? If you're like me you have 255 free bumps stacked up. The most you can have. I don't mean to brag.

    But I don't really bump that much and am doing all these things. suggestion to seoclerks about bumps

    seems odd to ask on the commiunity then not be happy with the responses telling certain people to "go away" or "stop answering my questions" especially as sanfora didnt even specify the question was to sellers.

    either way As idealmike has said
    there is no poll on here, and you said its a poll for sellers only? really? doesn't look like it to me!

    you just simply asked the community for their opinions on if they think its a good idea or not. I may not be a seller, but I will find it a lot harder to browse if everyone had 5 free bumps a day.. why? because the page will keep changing and moving around constantly as thousands of users keep bumping. then something I may have seen may just vanish and get lost moments later
