    How to connect my phone to my laptop/ Can anyone help as i spent hours trying to connect it.

    Well.. it's not necessary to spent hours trying to connect it because it's clearly that you have problems with your drivers, but also it depends how do you want to connect it. If you are trying to connect with USB, and your phone does not show that is connected after you connect it with USB cable.. then you may have to install drivers for that phone, drivers can be easily found on Google. Also we don't have enough details to help you to solve that problem, if it's really a problem.

    Really? Sometimes I wonder if you make these things up just to get a bump! LOL Well. I mean, come on, you give us no details to help you. What phone do you have for starters? Knowing that would help. Is it an Apple phone or a Nokia or Samsung or what like? When you say spent hours trying to connect it, what do you mean specifically? What steps have you taken exactly? Seriously man I mean no disrespect and say this purely in a light hearted way as a bit of friendly banter, but RTFM man! lol ;)

    No seriously, it's late and I'm goofy when I'm tired. But have you actually tried to do that? Read the manual? The one your phone or laptop came with perhaps? Have you tried to search it up online first on the manufactures site of your phone or laptop?

    In most cases, what you do is fairly straight forward and can be a little technically inclined and some people can struggle with it. But what you would do is connect your phone to your computer via the phones USB or charging cable. Or a micro-USB to USB-2.0 should do it. Usually there is one bundled with your phone. And you just need to install their software and away you go! If it's an Apple then you gotta just use iTunes. If it's Android then you use Android PC Suite or the one your phone maker provides.

    You may also be able to connect to it wirelessly using Wi-Fi or even Bluetooth. Whether wired or wireless, the software is what lets you do it. Do you have the software needed for your manufacture model of phone and Windows OS?

    thats funny.. i looked at your other questions and hitmeasap is actually the first to answer.on most so no idea where you got that from.

    whether this person "scammed" you or not. this is a community discussion. then you say to someone "why are you answering it first" then telling them to stop? and if he did scam you on a service why didnt you report the order to seoclerks? I looked at his profile and everyone seems to have no issues with him, only 3 people voted negative since 2011 so he cant be a scammer like you just suggested.

    Anyway telling someone you dont care about them and to stop answering your questions (even though he answered your question how to connect the phone, with a bit of banter) thats like asking a group of people in a room a question that telling whoever repsonds first to "shut up".seems a little rude to be honest with you

    Depend how you want to do this. Using wire or wireless? To use wire, just use cable with USB connection between your mobile phone and you computer. For wireless connecting you can use wi-fi or bluetooth and pair your laptop with cellphone.
    Requirement for connecting via bluetooth is for the laptop and phone to have bluetooth hardware installed and enabled at the time of pairing / connecting. You also need to have bluetooth wireless network on you PC. Most laptop computers, have a dedicated key available to switch the bluetooth connection ON and OFF. If you have an older generation laptop, then additional hardware, known as a bluetooth adapter must be plugged in the USB port. After enabling Bluetooth, search for active devices on your laptop, then select the mobile phone. Now you are ready to transfer data through this secure network.

    what phone do you have? you have not said if its a smart phone (which i assume it is) but is an an iphone, a samsung, htc, lg, etc. theres lots.

    either way with 99.99% of them you just plug them in with the usb wire that comes with the phone.

    on windows pcs anyway. they just autoconnect like an SD card
    not sure how mac works with them


    if they are an unbranded phone or lesser known brand, you may need software/drivers etc.

    or you can connect and send files via blutooth no matter what phone you have if you have a blutooth dongle or installed in the pc/laptop

    I also heard about the wireless connection like connecting with Bluetooth. I have always used the USB port only. Today's smartphones come with some desktop features which makes it easier to share and transfer files without requiring a USB cable
