Okay so first of all check out, How I Got My Response Rate Down: The Secret Sauce to Success! That's a post by my very self that shows how I got my response time down from 14 hours to just a couple of hours. Although it's gone up to about 4 hours again now but I'm sure I can work on that in the same way and get that down again in a few days time.
Check out Elite's post on Any tips to reduce my response time please? There are lots of tips given in that thread on how to go about it as well. That thread has lots of links to other threads that will be helpful to you as well. So check that out and read it and follow them, rather than me just putting them here again, just check out that thread and you'll find out how to actually go about reducing your response time.
Basically, it's all about how fast you respond to an update by a buyer in the order. How fast you first respond to it when they buy it and leave their required details. And how fast you respond to anything they say in it. Including, how fast you complete it once they have completed it with their review/rating.
Those guides by the way, explain how to set up order update notifications on your phone. So whenever there is an update to an order, you will get a notice about it straight away so that you can attend to that order straight away. Rather than only finding out because you're logged into your email account or something.
Check them out, do as they say, and that will get your response time down.
