Now then, here we go.
Starting off on instagram can be tough because you don't really know what to post. I've noticed that a few things go viral pretty quick from instagram and that is: Hot girls, Hot guys, funny things, and inspirational things.
The main thing I've seen skyrocket the quickest is something about hot girls. Actually, 9 times out of 10 it's something to do with women that gets the most views, likes, comments, etc. so I'll use that niche as an example.
So after you set up your profile/account you'll want to begin posting to your instagram page. I would say to post 10 images right away because no one wants to get onto a profile that only has 1 picture because that looks spammy. By posting 10 initial photos you will also be able to get more likes across the board because with the hot girls niche you can get people to click through to your profile and they'll see the other pictures and like, comment, share, etc.
I would say to post between 3 and 5 times a day until you get around 100,000 followers. This way you can get a surge in likes, comments, shares, etc. and your pictures will usually get stuck in the top 6 images for whatever tags you add in the descriptions.
Now if you have 100,000 followers you can most likely sell posts to people who want to advertise to your following. If you are in the hot girls niche, then you most likely your followers are 99.9% male. You can contact companies like rolex, nike, adidas, etc. to see if they'd like to get a post on your profile to show all of your followers. And since your posts are getting thousands of likes, they advertiser will be more willing to pay you.
Now if you don't want to find advertisers yourself, you can make an account on famebit.com and wait for people to contact you about advertising spots. I actually contacted one girl that I wanted to use for advertising, but she had 3,000,000 followers across multiple platforms and wanted $7,000 for a single post. I laughed and had to pass on that lol 
But that gives you an idea of how much you can make if you have the following

But well this raises more questions that it answers tbh! For starters like what if I'm not a hot girl? Are you suggesting but not suggesting that I could fake it until I make it? And create a fake IG acc as some girl and then start posting pictures of hot girls? LOL What sort of pictures and or photos are we talking about here? PG Family friendly, safe for work with no pink bits or after the 9pm watershed 18+ sort of stuff?
And where would you propose to get these photos/pictures from? If I start taking pictures of random girls I'll either get punched out or arrested or both LOL. And I wouldn't want to go searching the net for those sorts of things either. Not sure how the mrs would take it if she saw that in my search history I'd been searching for hot or sexy girls, let alone find my stash of downloaded sexy girl photos! LOL
So how far are you suggesting you go with this and is there are legitimate way of going about that? Can you source/buy those sort of things photos/pictures of that sort of thing from some photo image stock site or something legitimately for using on Insta? How would you get the pics/photos and wouldn't it be bad if you posted something that had already been posted before? That could get you busted but saying that, Instagram is like Pinterest really in that post pictures and photos get shared all over the shop.
I guess this would work best for an attractive girl to do and be classy about it. That could be cool. If done maturely and not in a sleazy way. But for middle aged me not so much lol.
But I've been checking out ways to make money on Instagram methods and tactics and one take away from all of them is that you need those big numbers before you can even make anything on it that way. But once you do have those numbers and your Insta is popular and your posts get a lot of engagement you can get sponsored by some big names and other accounts too which is probably why famebit exists so that the two can get together.
