What is the best way to make money with Facebook?

I know that there is money to be made in nearly all corners of the internet if only you know the way to go about monetization. When it comes to Facebook I am sort of a novice, although I do know my way around groups as I use them for a lot of my traffic. I know that one way to profit, and this is what I have been doing so far, is sending traffic to your site and then either selling a product, claiming advert revenue, or even selling the traffic on.
One thing that I have noticed after a bit of research is how much large pages, for example in the UK there is a page called The Lad Bible (Reportedly worth millions) but I simply do not see how they can make so much money. Is it through adverts on their site, sponsorship deals, secretly promoting affiliate links etc. I honestly have no clue how they are doing it and it would be great if someone could let me in on the secret so that I can at least attempt to replicate it.

I don't think you'll ever be able to replicate The Lad Bible. That site has been going for many years and have literally, many users using their site and sharing their site all over big social media pages everyday. That's just their site! Check out how many followers they have on their social media pages. In excess of millions! Literally when they release a new post, it gets shared millions of times per day on social media like FB, Twitter etc etc and social bookmarking sites like Reddit, Digg etc etc many many times. But the way they make money is quite simple. Through ads/advertising and sponsorship. They use Google ads on their site and would have a premium Adsense account that lets them use more than three ads per page and different content type ads, that kind of thing. Plus they sell posts (sort of like guest posts) to other big players and sites in the industry. And they sell advertising spots to people as well but these go for big dollar! And they are sponsored by a lot of big names and agencies too. Some even say that they are powered by the Illuminati and some other "secret societies" but that's just conspiracy theories.

Now as for making money on Facebook, there are indeed many ways to go about that. The first and most obvious way is to direct and send traffic to your site where you have ads on that site or CPA offers and things like that. But generally speaking, Facebook has a miserable conversion rate and it's one of the hardest social networking sites who's traffic is the hardest to convert. That's because most Facebook users are pretty savvy like that and are more clued up these days about what they're visiting and getting into. Basically, what you can say is, is that the majority of FB users have seen every trick in the book! However, if they are already looking for that thing you are directing to them then you are already half way there and FB traffic does convert but it does have to be targeted and you have to butter them up first.

There really is so many ways to make money on Facebook though. Whether it's directing traffic to your site which sells a certain product or service as an affiliate. Or you are providing services yourself such as freelance services or some other business related service. What you have to do is first find and identify something that is in very high demand, then find and identify the types of people who are most likely to buy that thing. Then you can go about targeting these people with a Page or even with a Community or Group.

And try to find out the problems those people have and then provide them with a solution to that problem. This is the best working model when you can find a working solution to a problem they have that is unique and unlike anything they have seen before. Those kinds of solutions literally sell like hotcakes! It's not easy, but it's not hard if you brain storm either. I've written some things here that can help you to find the problems they might be having and how to find solutions for them. Just check out some of my recent discussions and questions on the Facebook stuff and you'll find it. I'm feeling rather lazy today and in a bit of a rush to dig it up but at least that should help! I think the best way to make money via Facebook is to either:
  • Have a product
  • Create an App

I have seen so many Facebook games do so well, because the players of the game want to purchase in-game items, or bonuses. Even though this business model has been around for quite some time it's an old one and one that works really well.

For products, you can advertise via the Facebook advertising platform to bring in the leads for the website. This seems to also go well because even small businesses seem to be able to gain sales from Facebook.

Yeah games developers are earning a lot of money from their games, and it's unbelievable how much people spend to unlock their level or buying items in that game.

For me, the best way to earn money from Facebook is to use it as a venue for marketing. Advertising on your timeline is free and you only need to be creative with your marketing spiels so your friends will get serious with it. If you have a monetized video on YouTube, for example, you can get more views by posting the link on your timeline. Maybe just 1 or 2 friends would view it. And to make it more palatable, make your promotional post a little intriguing or mysterious. If your video earns money then it’s because of your promotions on Facebook.

The best and easiest way to earn from Facebook is by operating a store by converting a group or a page into an online shop. After that start posting and sharing articles, reviews, product descriptions, photos and even videos of the products you are selling to get some traffic to your page, when it comes to groups, it's best to add as many members as you can.
