    Avoid to use of vehicle for short distance. Is it right or wrong ?

    For short distance travel we should use the bicycle which is run without fuel and it is friendly to environment and avoid to use of fuel run vehicle which is dangerous to environment and road accident. Use of bicycle is a good exercise. What is your suggestion about this ?

    I would love to be able to cycle around, but where I where will I put my young children? They do have their own bicycles but they are too young to take out on the busy roads. One day we can all go out on our bikes and I look forward to that, but for now we have to drive Avoid to use of vehicle for short distance. Is it right or wrong ?

    Hi Mike picture looking good. Who is riding? Is it you? lol I am always prefer rickshaw for short distance. But long no way without car.

    it a great idea considering the pollution that comes with driving the motor cars all the time,if this can be used then it better but in my country bicycles are not easily allowed on the high way maybe in the rural areas

    Heyy! Great topic! I think it all depends on your situation. Some people have no choice but to walk or ride a bike. No doubt, it is way way better for any environment but in all reality sometimes you just need to drive to where you have to go. Cars and any motorized vehicle, I think have made people become lazy. Back in the days, even the biblical days, how did they reach their destinations....walking most of the time. Now we can just hop in the car, or on a bike, skateboard, or those little segway things! Crazy! If we all went back to walking to our destinations, we all would be healthier and happier people!

    What I don't get is when people use their car for everything! Like when they only need to walk down the road to get a newspaper and a pint of milk or something. Why not just walk? It would save money in fuel costs, be kinder to the environment and also helps to keep you fit and healthy anyway. That said, the majority of people that do use their cars for everything aren't generally fit and healthy. But that's probably because they use their car for everything! But why not just walk or get a bike and cycle to the shops instead? Beats me it does.

    I grew up in a small town and walked everywhere, when I got a little older my dad bought me a bicycle. My mom used to send me to the local store for a few groceries and I would ride my bike there. I believe that this is a really good suggestion, not just only is it better for the environment but also for your health.

    It would be ideal to avoid using our vehicles for short distances, however not many people actually do this where I live though.

    If i can reach my destination walking or biking i would definitely go for that option. Gas is expensive, im actually planning to change into hybrid cars.

    A bicycle is an excellent choice for short distance travel. Not only does it get you there without using fuel, you get a workout too. Other alternatives would be walking or taking public transportation. But a bike would certainly get you there faster and more efficiently. Not to mention parking and traffic won't be an issue.

    I use my car primarily for going to work because my officeis 15 kilometers away. There are 2 markets near our home. One is half a kilometer away that I dare walk often. That saves me gas and gives me an exercise too. But the other market is more than 1 kilometer away so I have to use the car for that. You may be wondering why I don’t take the public transportation. Well, it’s an ordeal to ride in a jeepney, that’s a small bus, and there’s also the risk of encountering criminals.

    Yes, a bicycle is a great way to reduce your environmental footprint. Even when traveling, this type of transport is very convenient. I like to come to new countries and cities and rent a bike to get to know the new city. Because you can't walk much, and by car, you won't have time to see all the beauty. And in this case, a bicycle is a great choice. The last time I was in Ukraine. And I remember and really liked the city of Odessa. Incredible beauty and atmosphere!
