When in life you want to be able to step in a field at least with some kind of experience, I know people that goes for jobs and do not get the job even if they are qualified in terms of education but due to the lack of experience.
And, that is not the worker's fault as you can have all the higher level education you want but can't gain experience unless someone gives you opportunity or a foot in the door.
And, let's face it, some freelancers start out in high school or just going into college and not even graduated. So they don't even have the education factor to weigh on their side.
In my view, the lack of both education and experience can weight heavily against that young person starting out.
And yes it's very easy to talk about a freelancer succeeding at any age.
But most times, that's in reference to an older person who has massive life experience on real world jobs and at previous freelance jobs. So it's not like their age is a hindrance as it indicates they had more time to practice at the things that a buyer might want. Not so with a young person, teens or just a little older.
So when it comes to working for yourself I want to know do you think it's possible for a young free lancers to get a head in this business or do you feel like a real job you have to come in with a little more experience and knowledge to get ahead ?

There's even cases where people who don't have a very good education, go on to become much more successful than those that do. Sometimes this is down to luck as well though as they find out how to tap into something. And sometimes this is down to personality as well. It can take the right sort of person to be successful in freelancing today and you have to have the attitude and personality for it.
That and a bit of luck. ;) Yeah, they could indeed well be at a disadvantage because like you've said, they don't have the same skills and experiences as an older person might have. Also an older person might have the right attitude to carry on and become successful where as a younger person might be more likely to give up and throw the towel in! However, some young people today are very innovative and clever. You see this more and more now of kids becoming millionaires overnight or doing something really clever that leaves adults feeling ashamed that they never thought of it before lol. Like that recent story of that boy who created a first aid vending machine. That's because kids have much more opportunity today than they did before when it comes to freelancing online anyway!
