    You can access Google Trends here: https://www.google.ro/trends/
    Google basically analyzes and turns into statistics everything searched in Google by everyone.

    For example, lets analyze SEOclerks together in Google Trends:

    Above we can see SEOclerks interest over time. You can clearly see as interest starts in October 2011 (when the website was launched). Notice the trend reach a peak in August 2015 but remaining hugely relevant until present time.

    Google also develops a word map depending on what region SEOclerks is more popular on:

    Pretty cool huh? You can do this analysis on pretty much any popular keyword. Based on what you find you can develop marketing strategies, find new keywords or develop new ideas. Google Trends also offerers a "related searches" option on which you can find rising keyword trends:

    Yeah I love playing around with Google Trends tool. It offers some insight into all of your keywords and gives ideas and suggestions too and letting you know which countries are most searching those keywords or for your products.

    I sometimes use other trending sites like Twitter's What's Trending page twitter.com/WhatsTrending, Google's Hot Trends tool at (google.com/trends/hottrends). Including whatstrending.com, buzzfeed.com/trending and sometimes youtube.com/user/Whatstrending and even Facebook has their own What's Trending Page facebook.com/WhatsTrending which you can use for ideas and inspiration as I sometimes do when I'm looking for new project ideas and niche markets to dominate.     Twitter usually has the latest things that happen and trends that start, posted on it first, followed by FB and the rest so if you're looking to be one of the first blogs to cover a subject that's hot and trending right now, it's good to keep your finger on its pulse so to speak by using and checking these sites frequently. Of course, I know they only show you what's hot and trending right now, they don't show you just how popular it is like Google Trends Tool does. But very well worth mentioning here with this as they go hand in hand with each other. What is Google trend and How to use this?

    What I find really interesting about the SEOClerks trend is not only the steady growth which is phenomenal on its own but that it says the most regional interest is from India at 100% and USA at just 28%. But it doesn't really read like that on the site. Don't you think?

    Google Trends is a very good SEO tool which is ideal to develop a marketing campaign. Basically it will show how often a search-term is entered in relation to the total volume of searches worldwide and in different languages. It is best used with the Keyword Planner, and is ideal for geo targeting. You will basically type in keywords and a graph will be generated. This graph will show you details about the searches that were made for that particular keyword over time and also in different regions, so you can understand how trends in searches for that keyword were.
