    Have you ever launched a successful Teespring Campaign?

    Hey freelancers,
    Have you ever launched a successful Teespring campaign?

    For those who doesn't know what Teespring is about:
    It's a website that allows you to create your own T-shirts, so you could promote and sell them. They handle everything else. You create the T-shirts and you promote the product so you'll get sales. Both you and Teespring makes profit.



    So, the reason I ask, is because I've noticed several people having quite success actually, and I thought to myself.. Would I be able to do this too? And should I?

    As most of you know, I'm always interested in new things to do, and Teespring seems like a good option, if I can come up with a cool T-shirt and promote it. I would probably use Facebook to promote it.

    With that being said, this has been going on for a long time already. Do you think it's too late to start now?

    I personally have not but my husband has tried it. He did not make a successful campaign with it though. I think part of the reason is that these shirts are often so overpriced. I know that many of his shirts were well over what I would want to pay for them, but that is how people are able to profit on there. We did buy a few of the shirts for ourselves, but that is not really being successful when you are trying to make money Have you ever launched a successful Teespring Campaign?

    Haha, I can totally understand that. I would buy my own T-shirts too, I'm certain of that. "Made by hitmeasap" would be awesome! Have you ever launched a successful Teespring Campaign?

    I've actually made a few T-shirt designs several years back, when I played Counterstrike, as we needed shirts for our team members. We all bought three of them, and that was because it was "cool" to have your own logo, nickname and so on. It was truly our OWN shirts, so we just had to buy a few of them each. Have you ever launched a successful Teespring Campaign?

    However, like you said, it's not optimal to buy your own things if you're trying to make money, and I honestly believe it would be rather difficult to launch anything successfully now, as this has been "viral" for years already.

    I would probably buy my own shirts that I made by myself, just to show it off to family or friends and be like "I made this, see?!" But I don't think anyone would think it was such a cool shirt and would want to go out and buy it. Also, I typically don't like shirts with logos, or prints for a reason. Why purchase a shirt to advertise the shirt's brand? Why am I not being paid to advertise Nike, or Adidas? Why are celebrities paid thousands to wear such name brands and I am not being paid to wear it? That's the kind of thinking I have, and plus, I think solid colors look best anyways.. or maybe I am just odd.

    I've never personally tried out teespring but I was thinking of trying it.

    I've read some ebooks about the topic and how to increase the chances of getting your shirts sold and getting the profits.

    All of the books I've read on how to increase your chances of hitting your goals on teespring talk about a few things. I'll go over what I remember Have you ever launched a successful Teespring Campaign?

    The Designs: You may think you have the best designs in the world, but if no one else likes them you won't make a single penny. You'll need to do some research on what's the best thing to sell and you can do that by going to teeview and searching the top sellers on teespring here http://www.teeview.org/?filter=sn. This will show you the top selling shirts, by number, overall. You can also go to amazon and search for the top selling shirts in order to get an idea of what you want to sell. Go here https://www.amazon.com/Best-Seller...v_a_3_2476517011 to see the top tshirts being sold on amazon. You'll have to sift through them to find some of the graphic shirts, but it's worth the time.

    Marketing: Getting your shirts sold isn't as easy as just putting up a nice design and letting it sell thousands of shirts, it doesn't work like that. Sure, you'll most likely get one or two sales over the course of your campaign, but that's not enough to make a lot of profit. We all want to set up one or two shirts and profit a few thousand, not set up a few thousand shirts and profit a couple dollars each. You'll need to use facebook ads in order to increase your sales. Set up a campaign that has at least 6 ads for each shirt and set it at $10 per day. If you don't make a few sales per $10 then you're shirt isn't going to work well. There are plenty of people out there that put a shirt up on teespring and do this, and once they find a shirt that sells well they will increase the cost per day from $10 to $100 and let it run for a few days. Setting your ad to run at $100 a day without knowing if it's going to work out is going to kill your profits. I read that one person spent a total of $460 on one facebook ad campaign over the course of one week and sold close to 2,000 shirts Have you ever launched a successful Teespring Campaign? He did what I mentioned above and didn't go all in until he found a shirt that was going to sell well. He netted a great profit and didn't waste his money on shirts that weren't performing. If you bootstrap this you can eventually get a few dozen shirts up and running on teespring and set up ad campaigns for each and increase your profits exponentially Have you ever launched a successful Teespring Campaign?

    Thank you Razzy, I appreciate it.

    With all that being said, I know a few things about this, as I've also read a lot of information regarding this. However, do you think it would still work, or do you think people are "too established" already for one to become successful in this field?

    I bet you could do this successfully, but I also believe it's quite hard if you're not an expert.. So having experience would obviously make things a lot easier, just like it would with whatever thing you do.

    No I never tried it but i like the idea behind it. T shirts can prove to be a great idea and you might make some good money from them. The only drawback is that most likely you need to be really creative and come up with something that people would really like. This may be difficult considering all the competition out there, but it does not mean that you should not give it a try. You should start off by devoting some time to doing some research so as to get some inspiration from top selling designs and get a feeling of what people seem to prefer.

    Yes, I have an idea already in mind about a tshirt but the thing is, is that this idea probably already exist so I just won't try. It's very hard to come up with things that are not yet in existence. Those that to come up with million dollar ideas often lose success quick, and I want continuing success.     Yes you are quite right. But don't just give up. Maybe, even if your design is somewhat similar to others, there could be something that makes it special, such as maybe an inspirational message, or a funny quote. I know that you do not just want to pick something that is really trendy at the moment, and which then sort of fades away, but at times that is the most feasible way to go about it. Just add some newer and trendier options as you go along, because ultimately variety and uniqueness is what most people look out for. Good luck!

    I haven't actually, I realized what I was doing wrong a while back after I quit teespring to focus on other things like affiliate marketing, some of the mistakes I was doing was going after the wrong niches or maybe even worse I was making really bad t-shirt designs which won't sell at all, I hope to get back to it in the future and succeed this time, on the other side check out this blog post: Successful Teespring Campaigns: How To Create Them it might help you with your journey to launch a successful teespring campaign.
