I was reading an article about time travel and how it might really be possible.

In theory, I think it's probable, but is it possible or even feasible that we could travel backward or forward through time?
I don't think our current technology has progressed to the point where we could actually make this dream a reality.
I'm interested in any theories which might support this idea.

Well I must digress! Wormhole's are only theories. We don't actually know that they exist. As for a black hole, we know they do exist because we see them. Well we can't actually see them. But we can see anything around them that's getting sucked into it. Where the matter that gets sucked into it goes nobody knows. Some people suggest that it's another dimension where the laws of nature are different or even simply another space in space. Some people suggest that it's all compressed into an infinitely small space. Much like how they think the whole universe used to be before the big bang. Which again, is only a theory. They think that the universe is constantly expanding and then compressing again over and over again but played out over billions of years in a constant loop. But it doesn't answer the question of [b][i]where did matter come from[/i][/b]. How can everything that is, come from nothing? It doesn't matter how many times you add 0 to 0. The result will always be 0. But somehow, some way, 0+0 has equaled 1 somewhere along the line. Once we understand that a bit better. I think we'll start to unlock the secrets of the universe. But we're still trying to find out what dark matter is and if gravitational waves exist.
I just can't see how time travel would be possible because what's happened has happened and there is no way to return back to what has past (hence why they call it the past). And the future hasn't happened yet either. We are living in the present and the future hasn't happened so how can you travel to somewhere that doesn't exist? :)

You mean the multiverse theory? AKA "parallel universes", "other universes" or "alternate universes". The theory that there is an infinite amount of realities or universes and in each one some tiny little detail is different. Like in one world, we have 6 fingers per hand and in another 7 and in another 8 and in another 9 fingers and so in an infinite amount of times. Or perhaps in one world someone does something different like leave for work 5 minutes earlier than usual or orders the fish instead of pasta for dinner instead that kind of thing?
I don't buy into that hypotheses do you? The universe is universal and its infinite in size. That's why there's one universe. One reality. But the multiverse hypotheses says perhaps there's 2 universes and 2 realities that can exist side by side. But that's just some Dr Who stuff! How can 2 universes that are both infinite in size exist side by side since they're both infinite in size and would need to take up each others space in time. But if that was the case why is there only one of us moving around in this space at any one time?
I mean where does it end? Why just 2 universes? Why not 3 universes or 4 or 5 or an infinite amount of different universes? Is reality just based on the vacuum of space? If you remove space itself, do you remove reality and time too?
If the hypotheses theory was true, there would need to be an infinite amount of matter created as well to make the big giant dust and gas clouds that eventually clumped together to form the stars and planets we live on and and black holes and all manner of intergalactic cosmical spectacles that are incredible to behold that we see today. Although, what we see in the sky now, is what happened hundreds of millions of light years ago not what it actually looks like now. Because it's taken so many millions of light years for their light to get here. So when you look up at the sky at night and see the stars, you're not seeing them as they are now, you're seeing them as they were hundreds of millions of lightyears ago.
Kind of like a postcard from the past. :)

And the future hasn't happened, until it happens. So we can't travel forward in time because that time hasn't happened yet. How can you travel to somewhere that doesn't exist?
We might one day be able to travel at the speed of light, or even travel on light. But you can't go back in time, because that time is gone forever. And you can't go forward in time either because that hasn't happened, until it's happened (the present).
So even if we could travel at the speed of light, or faster, we wouldn't be going backwards or forwards in time. We'd just be traveling at the speed of light. No matter what speed you travel at, you're only going to be traveling at that speed.
So time travel, no. But traveling at the speed of light, much more feasible. But time traveling itself, whether to the past or the future, just isn't logical. You're interested in hearing theories.
