    This profile is locked and cannot be changed. Please contact support to have the lock removed. Why does my profile say this to me whenever I try to change anything?

    This means you locked your profile in your settings area. This is a security feature to keep your account settings from being changed. The only way to unlock it is to contact support and verify you own the account, requesting your profile to be unlocked.

    Hi rituara13 thanks for your question. You know SEOclerks provides several type of security for any profile. For example: phone number verify and code and security question and address verification. Secondary password set up for your any changes another excellent security for your profile. Account lock another great security has provided by SEOclerks for protecting any hacking. If you locked your account by lock this account, you never change anything in settings area. And you cannot unlock by yourself too. So, for unlocking your account you must to contact with help desk. And they should unlock once your request and if you want, you can lock your profile again as security concern.

    Hi rituara13, I had no idea about this actually. I looked up community discussions and found a discussion about this. You may find some useful information if you check out this discussion. Here is the link - https://www.seoclerks.com/faq/10426/Profile-Lock

    It seems that this is something that happens in case of hacking. The lock is applied by admin, and can only be removed by them. So you may wish to contact them to ask if this lock could be removed when possible, and also clarify exactly why it was applied. But I believe it as something that was done for your security most probably.

    While it can be applied by a staff member, it can be enabled by users as well. Just go to your settings area and click on Lock this account near the bottom.
