I just posted this suggestion in the discussion but thought I would give it its own thread too.
I have seen a common theme in a few discussions.
Buyers in general don't approve orders quickly or at all, leaving the system to automatically approve them.
This sucks for two reasons.
Firstly the seller sits waiting longer for payment which is just not nice. Yes I know what it says in the terms and conditions, but wouldn't you the seller be happier if completed orders were approved quicker anyway?
Secondly (and most importantly) if the order gets automatically approved there is no opportunity for the buyer to give feedback or make a recommendation. If the buyer can't be bother to approve the order I am sure the buyer won't bother coming back to add feedback.
This just sucks for everyone involved because I want to read feedback on a seller I haven't used before. I want to know if this seller is trusted or not and what others experienced.
My suggestion here is to offer some sort of incentive to the buyer to approve the order as soon as possible after it is completed and importantly to also add feedback.
I have no idea what sort of incentive could be used... but if buyers were encouraged to be more on the ball and involved after they have received their order surely it will make SEO Clerk a better place for everyone involved?

There are some things you can do to minimize this from happening. Staying in touch with your buyer from the start to finish is the best way to make sure all your buyers complete the order by leaving their rating. Providing great customer service and liasoning with them upon purchase and telling them just before you deliver that you'll soon be delivering and asking if they have any questions about anything. Then doing the same after you deliver as well. That way you're more gently coaxing them into leaving you a good rating.
But as much as you try, even when you over deliver, some buyers just don't like to leave a rating or don't know they should or even know how to? As said there's many reasons why that could be.
So something that could help sellers more here is sort of onus on the buyer to complete an order quick where the ones that complete orders quick are better buyers than the ones that take much longer or don't complete them and have this show on their profile.
It could be something that shows on their profile similar to and under their response time like
Average buyer completion rate: 1 day. Or
Average buyer completion rate: 5 days.
But some people still wouldn't care lol sigh.
That's one of the good things about the 5 day period with SEOClerks, it provides plenty ample time for a buyer to complete an order. I get that in some occasions there might be lengthy reports to study to check the work was done. But that's on the seller anyway to provide better reports and just one of those things where you have to take the rough with the smooth if that is the case!
