How to improve communication with clients?

As a seller improving your communication with buyers is very important because they will more likely to return if you have good communication and provide quality services. Today we will discussion how to provide good communication:

Fast responses: Always respond to your clients as soon as possible. Some sellers reply when the work is complete and that is often many days. Reply to your seller as soon as they place an order; even if it is just “Thanks for ordering!”.
Email on phone: Whenever someone contact you on a website via private messages, you get an email so it is important to have an email app on your phone and enable push notifications so you know immediately when someone contacts you.
Good English: Always answer in good English and proof read your answers. It makes you look very bad if you are making spelling or grammar mistakes and decrease the chance of your customers coming back.

There are a lot of sellers that can really benefit from these tips. I have found that the level of service I receive in general from businesses is really low. I'm not sure the reason for this. In South Africa lots of businesses, especially in the area I live in give really shoddy service.

This is terrible, but it leaves an awesome opportunity for other businesses to really stand out by giving outstanding service. I always notice good service simply because of the lack of good service. Putting a little bit of extra effort in to each out to your customers and get to know them will really benefit sellers.

Some great tips MasterA! I always like anything that can make me a better seller or buyer!

Here's a few more.

Be transparent: It's always best to be honest, upfront and transparent as you can so that people know what they're getting from the start. It's never good when you think you're getting one thing and then find out you're getting something else before it's too late.
Be reasonable: Some people ask too much money for their services and they do it out of greed. This will likely put people off and force them to go elsewhere so you're only going to do yourself more harm than good by over pricing your services.
Be a boss: People like to be treated well and will remember you for it too. Always treat people like they're your only source of bread and butter and always "go the extra mile" with people in terms of your treatment and the service that you deliver.

Also remember to check your alert settings under "Email, Profile and Private Messages" in your profile settings page. To improve your communication with people you'll want to make sure certain alerts are checked and are on including Receive a notification when users follow you and Receive news and notifications from users you follow. This can help you to see what your followers are up to, what they're doing and if you should create a service based on what sort of things they're doing. ;)

Valid tips there.I hate contacting a site for whatever and its more than 24 hours to respond then such a site is not serious minded and sooner or later, they'll be losing huge clients and customers.

Attaining to clients needs immediately is the biggest form of communication. you reply all queries promptly and solves all matter swiftly.

I agree. It is very important that you keep in touch with your buyers as much as possible. I also have a habit of sending a short message as soon as I get an order, such as 'noted' or 'thanks for ordering'. This is something buyers expect as after all they have chosen you, and put in money on that order.

Also it is very important that you keep in touch as the order is getting along, especially if it is a length one, such as several articles.
If for any reason you cannot stick to the deadline do not let it elapse before informing the buyer.

Hi MasterA and Mike I agree both of you. Good communication with buyer should be first priority if, you want to be a good and successful seller or freelancer. What I did most, I just try to response back to my service purchaser in order section to confirming that Yes! I have received your order and you will get further update as soon as possible. And this short message very importance for buyer, who do not know you before and he feels confidence after purchasing any service. Secondly, if buyer get back any response, need to response back again and again until query fix and as soon as possible whether by order section or PM. And communication with proper English may another good fact and understanding English very much necessary. And ?transparent and responsibility should be build your personality as a human being. So, it has to be in your freelancing job.

I think the quality of the customer service that you provide is a really huge factor in communication with your clients. If you do not have top notch customer service then you probably will not have returning clients. Always be courteous and respond to your clients as soon as possible! Your clients like to see dedication and loyalty, so if you prove that to them, you will always have happy, returning clients! Also one thing I like to do with my returning clients is offer special discounts for their continued loyalty and patience...And don't forget, the customer is always right!

Thank you for giving out these tips for it is going a long way in helping freelancers to have free flow communications with their clients and by so doing, bring abetter relationship between them. I have never had issues with any of my clients which is as a result of the communication we have had over time.

The good English is okay but not really material to me as long as the client can understand you. What’s more important is the quick response. We always say that the people assigned in the customer service are the slowest type of people aside from being dumb. Pardon me for that remark, I’m just speaking based on my experience. A client is the lifeblood of your business so you should give special treatment to them. They are the VIPs of your business and a quick response will surely be appreciated. Neglecting this action is one reason why your business will slow down.
