Have you ever wanted a certain feature to act a certain way? Do you have suggestions and feedback that you would like to voice your opinions on? In this FAQ we will discuss current features the site already has that we as users would like to see improved or enhanced. This FAQ is not an official suggestion and feedback requester, this is just to voice your opinions and ideas.
Please do not ask the staff to make a certain feature here, or even post an agreement such as "Yes, this would be nice" with a certain feature or improvement, if you agree with it, just simply "like" or "thumbs up" the post. If you don't agree, thumbs down the post.
Replies such as "yes, this would be good to add", or "no i dont agree with this improvement" without stating why you don't agree or why you agree without explanation will be removed.
All posts on this FAQ would need to be suggestions and/or feedback. If you think a suggestion would enhance the site, you need to say why it would enhance the site, provide an example, and your arguments. If you don't agree with a suggestion, voice your concerns!
Some time ago on old forum were some suggestion about "sound" signal on receiving new alert and i guess it would be nice to have as well :)

since I am here practically all the time I would be able to increase my efficiency if I had to see alerts in real time

I don't know if live chat support would be the best thing for this type of website. Sure it works for many different websites out there, but with live chat on here you'd get questions like "How can I increase my rankings in Google?" and that's not really a support question.
Having live chat would also reduce the amount of posts on the community discussion where people can ask questions like that :)

You have some really valid points there. :/
We were talking also about having a sales related chat, not related to tech help. And, I would support the sales chat feature, such as where a buyer could click to get support for finding a good buyer. The chat person would not be able to answer generic questions though and would likely just give a macro/canned response for those. :D

The buyer could put in their budget of $10, $25, $50, $5,000,000, etc. and the staff member will try to stay under that budget, but put together the best bang for the buck

yeah, I don't know if there should be a charge, that's why I just said $1 because I didn't know what to put it at lol :D
The only real downside to this is that it would reduce the time on site and the bounce rate wouldn't be as good. That's mainly because people wouldn't be browsing as many pages since we'd be doing it for them :D

Some truly excellent suggestions here guys! Some real thinking "outside the box". Some of these features would be very welcome and very cool features but only worth adding it there is a demand for it and it will solve another problem perhaps. Or if they simply just promote site usage itself and make using it easier and promote sales and things then I'm all for having them yes! :)
I would like to suggest a preview option for the FAQ so we could preview our things first. It's not essential, it's just one of those things that could sometimes come in handy and also better handling of images and image placement as well so that I can upload images used in FAQs like guides etc to SEOClerks rather than hosting them elsewhere and also ability to float them into the left or right hand side of a paragraph like how you can when editing a WordPress post for example. But again, not essential and I can live without it just would be nice.
But the other suggestions made here so far are much more worth implementing for sure! Maybe. :)

Well, there is actually a way to upload images (you don't have to host elsewhere), and then place them somewhere in the paragraph. What I do is upload the image, and copy the image's link or the image itself and post the image where I want it. Just click the image button, send to server and place in the paragraph.

Yes preview option would be awesome! Virtually every time I have submitted a guide or something quite lengthy to the FAQ, I am always going into it and editing it after. I always spell check as I go or after but sometimes they still slip through or perhaps there is too much white space or whatever. With a preview option it would save having to do that and thus, save time as well. It's like you say, it's only sometimes small things but small things can go a long way and make all the difference if you're trying to remain professional. :)

Yes that was my other suggestion to have [b]profile tracking[/b] so we can see how many views our profiles have had and where the views came from (country, search term maybe etc) and went to, visited etc on your profile.
This would let me know what other language I should most convert my services to and the history of views of our services so you can see what the daily, weekly, monthly or yearly traffic is/was too.
That would be a very welcome feature I'm sure! :D

That is true. That said, I think I will still like to implement this in the mean time. It could be very interesting to see how many daily/weekly or monthly views my profile got. Any organic keywords that were used to find it or what their activity and paths traveled too were too. Deffo!! I am sure that later down the line, they would be able to implement something like this without having to use a 3rd party tracking script but for now I'm definitely going to give this a go! :)

This would weed out a lot of sellers and only leave the exact ones you're looking for. I have, and I think others have, searched for a while trying to find the right seller for what we need done. I've spent 30 minutes searching, reading service descriptions and sometimes not even finding what I need. If we had an advanced search feature that hit all the metrics, I think we'd see a lot of buyers and sellers more happy than they already are because there will be less confusion about the service.
