    How do you get rid of pimples?

    Sometimes, I get an occasional pimple on my chin or cheek. I have recently been under some stress, maybe it's related to that. What type of natural remedies can I use for a pimple or acne breakout?

    Well, if you want to try natural remedies the first thing that you have to know is that you need patience and persistence because this would imply a more radical lifestyle change.
    This means that you have to be careful what you eat, you have to exercise regularly, you have to be hydrated, you have to sleep enough and most importantly, just like you have figured it out, you have to live a stress free life (which is an incredible feat nowadays). This are the main reasons why most people have acne, a messy lifestyle and since I know how hard it is to change this and it's even harder to know what to eat, when to eat, how much exercise and so on I would recommend to join a gym and as for advice on eating I would recommend this book (healthdevotion.com/2015/05/02/get-rid-of-acne-naturally/) written by a nutritionist just for people who want to get rid of acne in a natural way.

    Thanks! I'm going to try this idea out. I have been using Noxema as a facial mask and it works really good. I've always loved aloe vera as a natural remedy. My mother used it on burns and for softening her hands. I had never thought to use it on my face though. This is a clever idea. How do you get rid of pimples?

    I have done the Noxema as a mask as well. It is very refreshing. Just don't get it in the eyes as it burns like the dickens.

    My personal option is to keep the face clean. I wash my face three times a day. And often that alone has helped me a lot. You can see that there are plenty of ways you can clean it. You can use the facewash. And that also helps you get rid of the bacteria on the body. You may have to see how the pimples can be good. I think if you take care of the skin like this, that would surely help a lot.

    You should try getting honey. If you can get raw honey then it's much better. I used to have a lot of breakouts, but eversince I started to use raw honey, I noticed that I barely get any breakouts anymore and that my reddish scars are starting to fade. The scars themselves are still though, as in the acne marks. The dark color is gone, but the holes are still there :/ I'm planning to treat it with a dermaroller soon.

    Hi, Savonne, I am using lemon before I go to sleep, and after that, i use any cream for my face. I get fewer pimples on my face since I use this remedy. And for an excellent skin on your face, you can rub your skin with coffee, it will clean your pores, and it will make your skin velvety.

    I think some skins are not going to react well to the lemon on skin in raw. In such case aztech clay or say multani clay with lemon may help out. But on that context, I'd say for some skin types this method may work out. It's hard to say how though.

    Besides taking care of your face with a proper cream and sunblock, you can try to use Magnesium Milk cover on you pimples.
    The whole idea of it is to dry the pimple, so you can apply a very thin layer of it on top of your bumps, then let them dry, do it when you go to sleep and you will see the results really fast.

    I think have read somewhere that pimples is of a result of blocked pores by oil that is too much secretion of oil on the skin by the oil gland. So for an effective remedy oil should be douse away from the skin at all times especially if you have oily skin.

    The best bet and the simple do-it-yourself remedy is washing the face and skin with clean fresh water with or without a mild body soap and applying good body cream if necessary.

    I was such a person that always had pimples then and it was not a good situation for me. I would have to say that you stop scrubbing sponge on your face while taking your bath, but try and use soap and water to wash off your face. Also, always make sure you wash your face of oils at least three times every day.

    I am not an authority on the subject and my opinion is mainly based on my experience. First is the hygiene because cleanliness is important with the face. Always use mild soap to wash the face and later on you can use some other liquid for cleaning your skin with cotton. Sleep is also important because pimples break out when you lack sleep often. Not to forget, you also need nutritious food.

    As for me, skincare products doesn't seem to work well so I just stick with a bar soap. I wash my face with a bar soap 3 times a day, whenever I brush my teeth. I had an outbreak few months ago and I tried several products. After months, I got tired and stopped using anything apart from soap, and that's how I got rid of my pimples. Just recently I tried using a mosturizer I got from watsons and I immediately had pimples, so I won't dare to try any other skin product again.
