    So you want to start your own site and then have a monthly membership to it? I guess that you could earn money if you found the right people to join.

    Membership options and micro payments to increase chances of being seen are the way to go, but the hardest part is to get the first people do join, bots aren't a very good way as i've seen some sites using them so it the site doesn't feel empty to the first people that register.

    You will have lots of competition in this niche. There are even many affiliates promoting large dating membership sites that will be competing against you. So many micro niche dating sites already available. So you would you have to come up with a smaller niche than generic dating.

    start a "straight only" "white only" dating site and you'll have the only one with NO competition.

    but starting a new dating site is a pretty long goal IMHO, if you're here just asking the question I would suggest you DONT.

These members must be paid members. They must pay a subscription fee. Secondly, you need visitors to keep the site live. Therefore, it can be very daunting to make money through a dating site. The niche is very competitive.
