How do i transfer domain from Register to NameCheap?

How do I transfer my domain from Register.com onto NameCheap.com?
I have had a look around on the website, but cant seem to find out to do it.
Can anyone help please?

Hey Sean,

Head over to https://www.namecheap.com/ and then proceed to "Domains" > "Transfer" in the menu.

Once on that page and you enter your domain you should be all good to run through the steps.

Wanted to confirm a piece of information but instead found a URL that will cover you for the register.com side of things: http://support.godaddy.com/help/ar...from-registercom

For the most part the domain must be eligible transferable, not locked and have the EPP code.

Better than move to namecheap, i would suggest you to move on godaddy or another.

No, SEO Clerks does not register domains nor play any part in transferring them for you. and if your meaning I should come here to ask for help, well that's what I have done, so why have you told me to do it again? lol

Unlock the domain name.
Get "Domain secret code"
Go to this transfer page https://www.namecheap.com/domains/transfer.aspx
Order & enter domain secret key when needed.
Then you will get email to approve the transfer.
Approve it. It will take 5 to 7 days maximum for complete transfer. Sometimes takes less time too.
