Are all Pligg bookmarking sites spammed?

Most of the Pligg sites that I've found are brand new, already heavily spammed and zero PR. Are there any Pligg bookmarking sites that have high page rank, are better moderated and also niche (versus general bookmarks)?

There are a few good pligg sites but you would be better off focusing on backlinks from more reputable sites.

It seems social bookmarks are becoming what blog comments have become years ago. They will rather hurt your site than help you move to the top. It is true, a lot of SEO services still provide social bookmarks as part of their service. It will definitely hurt the customer.

Maybe its better to concentrate on forum profiles? Forums get spammed too, but at least your profile page is isolated from other profiles and looks rather ok, while pligg pages look like a spamfest.

I am still using it and it definitely still does good. You just have to make sure you are not blasting your site, and instead blasting your tier around it.
