    Are these views real?

    I found two videos by Imagine Dragons.
    that each have hundreds of millions of views. I know this is a very popular band, but I had no idea anyone could get these kind of views. Could these views be real?

    WOW it's such a big number :rolleyes: but i guess they are real. VEVO is very popular channel on YouTube and many popular songs having big number of views. It's not that they coming only on YouTube, but also many other music related websites sharing this videos so it goes viral...

    These guys have multiple followers streams coming from different channels such as YouTube, Google+, Twitter, Facebook etc and its only a matter of time when each of their videos is shared by their millions of followers to reach more million views.

    And yes these are real views due to huge fan following.

    Yes, everything you said is true. I'm sure this band has many millions of fans worldwide sharing their video content through many social outlets.

    It amazes me to think that any band or person could have so many views on a video. Are these views real?

    This reminds me of Justin Bieber when he set the record of getting the most number of views for his music video. I think the song was Baby. It got 100 million views and the number continued growing. But it was soon bypassed by Gangnam Style of Psy, th Korean rapper. Looking back, would say that Gangnam Style has the chance to hit a million views? But it earned 1 billion views. That’s the effect of going viral where people view a video not because it is interesting but because it is the current trend and they don’t want to be ignorant.
