    If you unfollow a friend on Facebook does that delete them from your Facebook friend list? And, how can you unfollow someone without removing them?

    hi.
    It,s a simple process to unfollow friends without unfriend.You need to go your friend profile then you have get a option to unfollow.

    I tried this unfollow process and it unfriended a close friend of mine. Then I had to explain to him that I was just trying to unfollow not unfriend. I think it led to hurt feelings anyway.

    No if you Unfollow someone on facebook it won't delete them from your friendlist. If you want to unfriend someone just go to your friend profile then you have get a option to unfollow.

    there's a unfollow button on right side just untick the follow u will be not following him any more

    Sometime back I unfollowed a friend on Facebook and that deleted him from my friend list. At the time, I didn't realize that unfollowing would have this effect.

    When I have time to spare, I check on my friends list and I unfollow those friends who are not reacting to my posts. That way, I wouldn’t see their posts on my timeline and I don’t need to ignore their posts. I have a marker on their profile. For friends who are reacting to my posts, I click on the notification. That means I would be notified when they post something. But that notification is a marker which means that friend is okay. Without that marker, that friend is good to be unfollowed.

    If you unfollow someone in Facebook he would still be your friend. Although you wouldn't see any of his posts. If you don't want him to see your posts then just unfriend or block him.
